Vampire: the Requiem or Mage: the Awakening 2e

Had some games fall through, looking for anyone interested in running a solo or small-group VtR or MtAw 2e games for me! I have multiple character concepts in mind depending on what kind of game you'd be interested in running; if you want to run a group game, I know of some people who were in a game that seems to have collapsed that might be interested in joining up, too!

Would vastly prefer an Adult rating (since these games tend to get into that stuff) and to start at least slightly above base character creation (since PbP games tend to take a while to get past the less-interesting "intro" phase of these games.) Other than that, I'm open to discussing ideas!

If a GM is interested in the Mage 2E type game (solo or small-group/solo combo), I'd be interested in joining too! Have several different ideas in mind for characters, so could fit whatever storyline was planned. And should be able to post multiple times per day too, so would love a faster paced solo (or solo/group) game.

Trilogy, what pace of a game are you looking for. I am a fan of running mage, but tend to be one post a day rate depending.

Please define "small group," Trilogy. I have three players for a Mage: the Awakening 2e game; if you were the fourth, would that be a small-enough group? What if there were a total of six, including you? (Pretty sure more than six players would not be anyone's idea of a small group.)

@oniwolf2000: My usual post-rate is once a day on average - sometimes I miss a day here and there if I'm busy.

@Rook Seidhr: Honestly at this point if you think you can handle a game that size I'll give anything a shot!

Had another game sadly fall through, so once again I'm looking! Have a few other players who would probably be interested as well, especially for Mage!

I'd be down for a MtAw game, as well. I have a few concepts that are wiggling to get played. :)

I would just love to play Mage 2e!  I think the game I'm in is falling through.

Unfortunately, I am a rotten GM.

I think it's been long enough to bump now? Still looking for this - and it looks like other people are too! Still looking for either a solo or small group Adult game, especially of Mage! I'd love to explore some of the stuff that's in Signs of Sorcery.

Bumping again! It looks like there's a lot of interest, if anyone is interested in running!

Unfortunately I'm not really interested in Ascension, only Awakening 2e.

Re: Vampire: the Requiem or Mage: the Awakening 2e

I am still interested by a game of Mage the Awakening. Especially since I have finished Sign of Sorcery, there is something interesting to do with imbued items and perfected materials. So now I am torn between two different type of characters.

Re: Vampire: the Requiem or Mage: the Awakening 2e

Hey everyone.

New to the site, but experienced CoD GM. Happy to get involved, I'll be running a period game set in 1885, but always happy to go with the flow of what players want.

I'll add that I mostly know 1e, but looking to move on to 2e anyway, there's no time like the present. As an fyi, there will be a bit of transitioning, I do know the 2e system, just not as familiar as I would like to be at this time.

Re: Vampire: the Requiem or Mage: the Awakening 2e

@LiveSpark: are you thinking of running Vampire or Mage? I'd be interested in either, and I'm pretty knowledgeable on the differences between 1e and 2 e (having run both myself) so I'd be happy to help out with running 2e!

It's an improvement across the board, believe me.

Re: Vampire: the Requiem or Mage: the Awakening 2e

Oh, don't I know it. I'm running a 1.5 vamp (certain aspects of 2e have already been implemented), looking to transition very soon, it's a long running game so it's translating across at the moment, and I'm am familiar with 2e, just lack the practical application.

I like to run games that players are interested in playing. So we could try a poll of Mage/Vampire and what setting/location/time period etc... particularly appeals to players? Building around pcs instead.

Additionally, I'm fairly available, so I can easily do daily posts, and quite multiple posts per day, on my busy days that will be reduced.

Feel free to message me directly, we can talk ideas.

Re: Vampire: the Requiem or Mage: the Awakening 2e

Hi livespark, I'd start with vampire rather than mage as the rules are easier to handle. I'm saying this because I screwed up my first and only attempt at running an nwod mage 2nd edition game.

I'd love to see a mage game, but vampire is just easier to run.

I've played mage 2e, weirdly it's the system I'm more familiar with. Thanks for the advice though, I'm open to seeing how it goes. Maybe starting with a small player group, and expanding as the chronicle progresses.
