I'd love to play in a game using the early rules and where being Unaligned was a viable option, and I prefer these rules over the later edition. Maybe a one on one game or small group.

I own the rules, they don't have all the BS and reminds me more of the older games with enough changes to be interesting and I like the Covenant verses Unaligned aspect the vampires who accept predators are just that. Plus if one wants to be in a Covenant there are options there as well.

I would recommend checking out 2nd if you get a chance. Really, all the 2nd ed CofD games are HUGE improvements over the originals mechanically speaking, arguably Vampire got the best fixes too.

The only thing I can imagine you might not like at first glance are conditions and tilts, but actually it's an improvement once you wrap your head around the difference.
