I'm looking for a GM to revisit the old 80s Dnd cartoon theme of ordinary modern day people warped into the very game world they love to sit around playing.  Everyone whose played has wondered what class/race they would be if they suddenly found themselves in a fantasy world.  Many cartoons/anime have even explored the theme.  Now I want to too.  Maybe it could have a Sword Art Online type spin to it?

Frankly, I'd want to play myself.  I want to experience the horror and humor of trying to survive in a world of monsters instead of waking up to go to my desk job.

Would I sell my soul to a demon for the powers of a warlock? Probably. Am I clever enough to succeed at being a rogue?  Have I always dreamt of being a sexy long-haired elf only to find myself in the body of n asthmatic gnome?

Whose up for GMing a game like this?

I have played in a game like this back in the day. We used Rolemaster then.

The GM did not tell us the theme, and just said "Come ready for a game."  We then had to answer 20 Interview style questions, from which he worked out our skills. Our equipment was literally what we were carrying when we arrived at his house. It was a fun game that ran for a few sessions.
