Godzilla (Kaiju vs Kaiju) or Pacific Rim (Mech vs. Kaiju)
My son just turned 12. He is a huge Godzilla (all Kaiju) and Pacific Rim fan.
I am a rpg gamer of 33 years but am not GM material.
Looking for a GM to run a game for us. I am quick at picking up new systems and will do the bulk of the teaching.
I know it is short notice but I have him from December 25th to Jan 2nd and would love to start at least designing our characters together over the holidays. I have him every second week-end so a GM would not need to run the game constantly so would not interfear much with other games they may be running.
I have access to the following systems but have no experience with them and am open to any system a potential GM might be willing to run as long as there is online sources or purchasable ones:
- Hero System 5e: Monster Island (Kaiju-esc but doesn't use monsters of the Godzilla universe)
- Monster Island: the Game of Giant Monster Combat (by. Firefly games)
NOTE: we have played with this system but only arena style, not campaign and have 4 Kaiju character sheets drawn up.
- Kaiju Incorporated the RPG.
- Shatterdome: a Pacific Rim Microlite20 RPG
- Mekton Zeta Plus (a Pacific Rim-esque rpg)
- Pathfinder Mech rules vs. Pathfinder Kaiju Codex
- Lancer RPG (Mostly focused on Mechs and their pilots but the biological tag can be added to a mech to make it a living minster)
- The Jovian Project
