obligatory mature game statement.
I have run games like that in the past, and am still willing to do so. But some things need to be stated up front to address some of the reasons those games fell apart.
- You need to build and fully flesh out all your followers and cohorts that you want to exist.
- I don't recommend carbon copy "mini me"s
- Your followers and cohorts are NOT NPC's, I will run a few of them, and I do mean FEW.
- If i am running a character for you, it will not be a room of NPC's talking to each other there needs to be at least 2/3 player controlled characters, and I expect that every round of the quest be role-played...including a full reporting on the events of the quest which GM controlled characters will not be responsible for.
- Just because a follower or cohort experienced it does not mean that the character they report to is aware of even the first detail.
- I know my worlds better then my players do, if I say something that contradicts a book, there is an in world reason. That reason is worth exploring in character.
- I have a low tolerance for rules lawyers, because they are often wrong, because like i said above. I know my world better then a player does.
If you are looking for something different then what I described, I will understand if you don't submit for access to the game.
I will close by saying that my worlds are hard and brutal, and have histories longer then some players have been alive. There is no way to know everything, or even a fraction of it for that matter, and finally my worlds are massive and anything you build WILL be accepted as a character, but there are consequences both good and bad for each choice and you often wont know what they will be till you are "in it".
