Theogenesis Game / God Game

Greetings,

So I fell in love with the Theogenesis concept of gaming and while this gaming style seems less "hardened in rules" it thus has interpretations. Yet the concept of playing a God, with followers and developing ones realm/people while gallivanting across the realms of Creation is something I enjoy and while I am currently in a very interesting game, I have also come to see that such games are:

1) Rare
2) Tend to keep within a set core of players
3) Take a lot of work on the GMs part

So that said, if you are looking to start such a game and are looking for a player that has some experience in the concept (playing in one campaign and started in another while I run by own concept of it because, at heart, I'm a GM and so couldn't help myself) then let me know.

Note that I know that campaigns on RPOL tend to go up and fizzle after a few hundred or so posts. Know that I am looking for a true campaign that will (hopefully) go on until the end (of either the campaign or all the lives of the gods in question hhehehe) since the work put in by the GM is a lot yet the creation of the God itself is also a lot of work on the players part.

So there you go. Figured I'd put this out there in case someone was looking to start a campaign of this sort in 2020 .

Rmail me if you are.

Thanks

Theogenesis Game / God Game

I'm always on the look out for a god game, one that has some staying power would be ideal since the few I've tried to participate in succumb to attrition as usual. I would love to develop a thriving universe and not have people drop out when we're still creating the laws and matter of the universe.

If there's an opening in such a game please count me in!

Me three! Preferably a Theogenesis game with a more fluffy set of rules where stats and abilities inform things rather than dictate them; I've seen games where a god with subtle poison or telepathic powers can't touch another god because "haha I have one more point of resistance than you!" In a game like this, narrative really should trump stats.

Are you referring to a specific system or a general theme? Either way this seems like a neat concept; I always liked the idea of creating a world with wacky laws of physics and the like.
