I've been on Rpol for a bit now, but because I've not really been in a game before, I'm hoping to find someone to show me how all this works.

In my experience, here on RPoL it is generally easier to join a game as a player than to coax a GM into running a game for you.

What sorts of games are you familiar with? Have you played any around the table-top?
