I love the Stars Without Number system, but I don't have time at the moment to DM. Anyone interested in putting a game together?

I am running a game of it and we have room left on the ship. We’re doing a silly game though, based on shows like HitchHikers’ Guide to the Galaxy, Red Dwarf, Galaxy Quest, etc.

Currently our characters are members of the Party Patrol, a ship sent out to bring the Party to other systems and planets. The ship has a Party Drive that feeds on Party Energy, so in order to refuel, they need to party hard.

It’s definitely not a normal, serious SWN game, but I was curious if it could be done. Lasers and Feelings would have been so much simpler though! :P

Drackler, what kind of SWN game were you looking for? I’ve been entertaining the thought of running one but haven’t really had a spark to kick it off...

I'm fairly open? I'm hoping for something that ties in with the SWN established setting and lore, but I could do homebrew, too. A couple of ideas that I thought might be interesting would be 1) a cliched group of mercenaries or just morally ambiguous types adventuring through space and exploring worlds, or 2) an elite unit for some sort of military or corporation doing specific missions.
