My dream game is solo or small group game that digs deeper into the a single clan. I am willing to play any clan. I know there is a GM out there that would love to showcase their favorite clan.

Hey 4th ed! I remember buying this rulebook back in the day and even getting introduced to the card game in all its glorious confusion before it got killed...
I'm sorta sad the history got rolled back too with all its intricacy.

I'd be interested as a player as well, but I never familiarized myself enough with the rules to GM for you. What clan would be your preference if you had to choose?

I really enjoy all of the clans, but find myself drawn towards the Crab Clan and the Crane Clan most often when I go to make a character. However, I would be willing to play any clan if there is a game master out there interested.

Well, if you need encouragement, I'd love being a kaiu engineer.

I've seen people have issue with the Kaiu Engineer when they can't sit still for a month to do smithing and engineering stuff; their school skills and techniques almost entirely revolve around it. On The Wall, though? Perfect choice.

If everyone is willing to stick to Duty and Loyalty like glue, Scorpion work well for single-clan adventure - everyone is in on the scheming, while the schools both support each others' antics and generally work better with more. Two Shosuro Actors are better than one.

Any single clan would be interesting. Just need to avoid concept creep from most PCs 'accidentally' being out-of-clan characters.

What about a minor clan game set in time of the Three Man Alliance, before Yoritomo pushes the Mantis towards great clan status? Possibly altering the timeline for other minor clans to join in or stand aside.
