I think it would be super fun to do a pulp sci fi game using the Star Wars d6 rules.

I'm thinking super cheesy names , bad special effects, clunky ray guns, wingy space ships, and bubble space helmets and all.

Could be done as a tongue in cheek comedy, or a serious genre engagement. Either way, it should come with solid visual connections.
