I've been recently re-watching some of the Alien franchise movies, and been reading the Alien RPG a friend recommended. I was wondering if there was anyone out there willing to GM a game of Alien, taking it slow since I (and likely any others playing) would be new to the rules. I'd prefer a Campaign style game, either Space Truckers or Colonial Marines, but a short Cinematic style game could be fun to get a handle on the system at least. I believe there's an adventure in the core book and a downloadable one as well I think.

Never read or played the Alien RPG.

I have used WEG D6 rules (Star Wars) alot and have fanrules for this made back in the day. This includes rules for Face Huggers, Warriors and Queen. Even have rules for Predators too.

I bought the core book recently and have been reading through it trying to get a feel for the system (which is new to me). I haven't figured out how 'pbp-friendly' it might or might not be as yet.

If I did anything with it I think it would probably be a mercs campaign game.

Hmm. Interesting. I do know and like the Star Wars WEG rules, but I am kind of interested for the moment in the new Alien RPG rules. The fact that you have all that already is pretty cool and interesting though.


That would be very cool. Or we could do a Cinematic scenario to test out the rules if people aren't up for a full campaign right out of the gate.

I have started getting into Alien RPG (playing a few games, and now am in a campaign, and running another) so am beginning to be okay with the rules.
If no one is starting a game I can see about running an intro' at least.
