The Strange (Cypher system)
Greetings!
I'm on the hunt for a GM who's interested in running the multi-dimensional game The Strange. If you're not familiar with it (but know the Cypher system) you'll be able to pick the game up quickly as it's campaign world is mostly imagination (as opposed to book after book detailing them). It gives you a couple dozen worlds to start with and inspire you, but it expects you to be inspired to put a character in weird shit for kicks.
That said, I do want to mention that this game relies on your creativity in a number of areas, so if you don't think you have the ability to create 'worlds,' (or more accurately, tiny little spots to have adventure in those worlds), then you may struggle.
About me: I've been roleplaying since 4th grade red box D&d, and have written a novel, a number of short stories, and am working on 2 more (as well as being published). I'm very easy going and fine with adult content, but don't need it. I prefer a good story and challenges to push-over NPCs and fodder for my ego, be it in combat or elsewhere. The best scenes in any book are when the characters have just enough to win, not when they trounce the enemy without breaking a sweat.
That's your reward for living long enough to be a badass.
Say hi and let's work something out
