I want to play Exalted again, but I haven't seen any recruitments in a long time. While I'd prefer 3e, I don't mind any edition, or even an attempt to play it with another system. Just give me a chance to get used to it. I also prefer Solars, but we'll see how things go if someone wants to offer another splat.

I have yet to actually PLAY exalted 3E, despite being a kickstarter for it years ago. I would love a chance to break that system in.

But even still, I would take a chance to be able to play Exalted again, in any form.

I'm with TMTO that would prefer to play Solars, but the bigger thing is to keep everyone in the same Caste, or else the narrative as well as the mechanics start to get wonky fast (in my experience)

Add one for people that have interest in 3e but have not had a chance to try it yet.  I would definitely try to run it if my game load wasn't already too full to run more

 My assumption would be same Type not Caste because an all Dawn Caste game would be over quick. Same could be said of Twilight. I'd be willing to play 3E, but that's it as far as 3E goes. Now 2.5E I run every so often. I might be able to find time to run 2.5 but it wouldn't soon.

2.5 or 3E is fine. Hell even 1E could work. I just want to play Exalted again...

1E is a mess imo. Great source material but not the best in the rules department. 3E is great for the cinema feel so I'm told. I prefer 2.5 because it is the one I am most familiar with. And 2.5 is really just a cleaner 1E as far as rules go. I steal parts from 1E story wise and certain fluff. I steal 3E ideas and shoehorn them into 2.5E to make 2.75E. But I digress. I have a couple of 2.5E games currently. They are both slow rolling.

  The first(Five Pillars of Creation) is a plot driven sandbox. I don't know that it even comes close to filling the idea of what you are wanting.

   The second is closer(Walking Creation). It is a classic Vanilla Exalt game. Current active Roster is a Dawn, a Twilight, and an Eclipse. We have a fourth who is Sidereal but he hasn't logged on in a good bit.

Mechanically, 1E was not in the best condition for Lunars and probably Sidreals but I loved the fluff for it. In some ways I prefer 1E when playing Solars, I find 2/2.5E can be too complicated. Would be up for some 1E or maybe 2/2.5E Exalted.

I'd ST a solar only 2.5 game, sure. I need to set up some ground rules so everyone knows what my limitations are; but I'd love to ST exalted 2.5.

Give me a few days to set up the ground rules in a succinct and clear format. Then I'll make the character creation rules. Finally I'll post a RTJ format (what I need versus what I don't).

Life is...slow...but noisy. Literally construction when I'm sleeping. It's difficult to concentrate even though I have more time than ever. So please feel free to Rmail me if five or more days pass without word. I doubt I'll forget, I'm excited about this prospect, but I have been known to forget such things in the past. :/

Exalted is a great game, love the setting and lore, count me interested in such a game!

We'll see what the ST comes up with! Count me interested. Been a long time since I dusted off my Exalted books. (yes, I have actual physical books. Prefer reading them to books on a screen). TBH I've always wanted to play an Infernal, never found an ST willing to do an Infernals game.

heh. Yup. You pretty much said what I was intending to open my post here with. I'll go ahead and say it anyway though, as it might still be relevant. I'm not turning on the "player wanted" asterisk, because as can be seen, the response for this very simple premise "solars friendly Exalted" game is overwhelming, as in, in excess of what I can handle. So I'm not going to even open up a players wanted thread, or turn the indicator on, unless only a couple players here RTJ. I suspect that would be rather counterproductive, I'll likely have to turn away some of you for no other reason than finding manageable number of players.

When we've completed a couple stories I might open up a second group. I don't think the chances are high, but 20% to 40% is still a nontrivial likelihood.

Please review the game info and RTJ prompt, and the visible threads.

I'll be accepting RTJs for about a week before I start to form an idea of the group to be played. I will then probably wait roughly another week, give or take a couple days, to make the final decision. So I would say, based on this threads post dates, that everyone should have chance to RTJ if they should so choose. At the very least I'm waiting until the 14th to close RTJs, likely no later than the 20th though. Edit: I'll be closing RTJs on the 16th, in precisely 98 hours from this edit time stamp.

I know people really like a quick feedback of their efforts, and I'll try, but I think it is best to make sure everyone has a chance to put in their RTJ and take my time to form a good chemistry of PCs.

This will be my last post here, for the foreseeable future. So if you're interested in pursuing my part in this, RTJ or just Rmail me if you'd rather.

By all means, IMO, if another ST should post an offer, I see no reason for anyone to have to choose. I would ask, in such an event, that someone let me know, either at the game or in Rmail. I'd actually like to play, as well, if given the chance.
