I don't thin so. The core books core 3e are either the Basic Hero's Handbook or the Deluxe Hero's Handbook. I can share one if you want. I have begun to think to the setting. For now I would go more for a universe where genuine superhero are a new in the world, either you would be in the first wave or we begin the play a decade after the first appearances when everyone has become accustomed to their existences and the first are already etablished. What do you think? This message was last edited by the user at 08:27, Fri 18 Feb 2022.

Third edition is the only one I am familiar with so that's great for me! I've sharply limited player and GM experience with the system so I won't be able to judge you too harshly for any mistakes you make. =P I could go either Superheroes: Day One or a decade or so later dependent on what you think makes for a better story; as long as we're not operating in the shadows of mightier heroes that make our own works seem insignificant in comparison.

Yes. DCA is MnM3e, but skewed to the DC Universe. Also, because it was printed earlier, it doesn't contain errata-fixes. Functionally, it's the same rule-set.

I really enjoy the Mutants and Masterminds system. I am currently building a world that can be run using the system, but I have gently moved away because I can never find anyone willing to play. I was actually just building it when I stumbled across this topic. I saw your different characters that you were looking to make. The world I am creating has a mixture of advanced technology and magic so I could possibly accommodate some of those character ideas utilizing it. However, I would like to be upfront and say its not your typical superhero story. You are superhuman and capable of great feats and you can wear a costume if you want, but it's not inherently designed around superheroes but rather superhumans. To sum up the storyline simply; you're a demon hunter. What makes this storyline more complex is what my players bring to me. As I see the different backstories and characters involved I can very quickly create a narrative that is guided by the characters rather than a preset idea. I've run about three games this way and I have found its very successful. (Just a whole lot of notes for me lol). If you're interested let me know. I can start shaping the game for a Mutants and Masterminds game then.

That's the setting with the Silver Storm, right? It wouldn't be my first choice for a game setting but as long as the canon heroes have the decency to not show up and make us all feel like shit by trivializing all our accomplishments I'd probably give it a shot.

In short: The content of those shows exists in this world, but the power levels of those shows are too low. I feel the largest difference of those shows is their tone. It could go either way, it depends on you. How do you imagine Inoue hunting demons for how you understand them? If you want to know what I think, here ya go:

I can't find your original post. The post at the top of this thread seems to have been deleted. Can you give us a link to the updated version? I suppose that the updated version is at: link to a message in this forum Okay, so in fact the updated post was quite easy to find if I bothered to use the bulletin board as designed. I think it is time for another coffee. This message was last edited by the user at 04:41, Thu 12 Jan.
