I'm a huge fan of the Star Wars the Old Republic MMO. I really like the take on the setting with the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire locked in a Cold War and I think it offers a lot of fun of opportunities for diverse adventures.

Anyone willing to run or play in a game set during this era?

I might be interested in running something similar. The MMO would be ignored completely, elements might be borrowed from it. It will be more KOTOR than TOR.

Agreed.  Knights of the Old Republic/The Old Republic would benefit from that edition of the game rules rather than the older d6 one.

I only do freeform.

Saga Edition (different than d6) had a KOTOR Era Sourcebook, which is really handy. (SAGA also tends to be very Jedi-centric in its materials, so if that's the kind of character you want to make, you're good to go).

Having played everything KOTOR related (although I haven't touched SWTOR in a good number of years), I'm sure I could cobble something together if you're interested in that system.

I have a copy of Force & Destiny, but have never used it, so I would make a poor GM with that system, but would be willing to be a player in it.

D6 has a fan made Old Republic Galaxy Guide though I understand that system isn't that popular these days.

I'm not a huge fan of Saga but that might just be unfamiliarity (I've heard good things about it.) I don't own Force & Destiny (or the other Fantasy Flight Games) so that might be tricky.

I'm a huge SWTOR fan and I have played a SWTOR era saga game before, and it was extremely fun! The system isn't too bad once you've gotten a handle on it. I thought the class system was cool.

I like 5e as well. Never tried the Star Wars conversion, but would be interested in it. I've also played KOTOR, and enjoy that setting too.

I think the initial pitch of Republic/Empire cold war antics sounds very intriguing. I think the political situation in SWTOR is rich with possibilities.

I love TOR/KOTOR and would be very much interested in playing.
