Star Wars

 Greetings,

I am seeking  GM, that would be interested in running myself, as a bounty hunter, or small group of character bounty hunters.

My other idea, is to rp a Dark Side Adept, that serves the Empire, in running missions for the Empire. Solo or a small group.

Thank you for your time, and attention

Also interested in this.  Are you other two at all interested in 'troupe' style play?

I have never tried  troupe style play, before. But I would give it a try.

I don't know what you mean by "Toupe" style. I would love to play, especially if this is 5e!

wow, I didn't even know sw5e existed!

Regardless, in Troupe play, everyone makes one main PC and at least one supporting PC.  And we would GM in turns, according to some schedule.  Depending on the mission and the circumstances, anyone's main or supporting PC might be used.

So for instance, we'd all have one level 3 bounty hunter.  And then, for example, I have a lvl 1 mechanic. It's my turn to GM, so I'm the mechanic/engineer that gets the team into the freighter, but im not part of the kill.  My BH is out getting the contract on the next mission.

Next mission, you GM, and it's your slicer who comes with the team.  If your main PC dies, one of your supporting characters can be elevated, or you can add in a new Hunter back in at level 3.

Or something we all agree on.

Basically, troupe play means that everyone is playing.  It's easy to do in table top (next Tuesday, it's Operation: Orbis) but harder in PbP.  We can always try.

Or - - maybe there's a GM out there who wants to run a team of BH?

I run SWSE (Saga Edition) RPGs (not to be confused with SW5E), one which is about to wrap up.

I like that they've created a Wiki for the SWSE rules that is easily accessible, it makes it easier to reference rules, without having to buy the modules. I'm also planning on GMing a Mando style game once I finish drafting the first few scenarios if that sounds interesting to anyone. NOTE: likely to run later this summer.

Iím familiar with the Star Wars system from fantasy flight that transitioned into genesys and would be down to gm that game. If it was a different system I probably donít have the experience to GM

Apparently, the stars are in proper alignment for me to tackle a Star Wars game.

I'll work on it this weekend.

As I understand the request, all the characters are supposed to be Bounty Hunters, right?

Does that mean a cadre of Bounty Hunters, or is everyone sort of freelance but working together for this one (?) bounty?

I'm planning on using the SW5e rules for this game.

Any other thoughts?

 Greetings,

First off, many thanks for making the offer to GRINGO.

I only have Edge of the Empire rules. I hope that is not an issue.

As for the type of group, I was thinking of a small tight knit group.

I haven't heard of Edge of the Empire before now. Completely missed FFG's version of Star Wars.

However, there's already a wiki for SW5e, so you shouldn't need the rule books.

Also, 5e claims to be compatible with all other versions, though maybe not the WEG versions, which I never played.

In any case, you can always make your character with Edge, and then I can try to convert it.

It's really about knowing the 5e system, which is still pretty much D&D D20.

There's sort of wiki for Edge, too, but I'm still working my way through it.
