Anyone? Troupe style or straight.  Would prefer some kind of a mobile unit - PT Boat, ftr/bomber, LRDG jeeps, T34, Wierd War mecha, something.  Happy to discuss!

PS - there is a kinda brilliant game specifically for the 588th Night Bombing regiment, the ‘Night Witches’...

I would play the Night Witches RPG from Bully Pulpit games. That's my first choice.

Would also be interested in other WW2 in an other system, especially if the "SW" in your ISO information refers to Savage Worlds.

Night Witches is awesome, I highly recommend it. Most WW2 games seem to focus on infantry to the exclusion of tank or air crews, although there is a WW2 sourcebook for the air-combat RPG Warbirds.

While the SW is star wars, Savage Worlds works great for this setting, but Yes - I really would like to play a pilot in the 588th and the Bully Pulpit game is kinda amazing.

There is a new WW2 game in development called War Stories, based on the Year Zero Engine. Firelock Games I think - they have a page/group on Facebook dedicated to it.

Looks like War Stories is finished, and is geared toward Operation Overlord and beyond, using the 101st as the unit that everyone is in.  Could also be fun.  I'm not too particular, though I love the on-again, off-again; combat/air base divide of a pilot's group.

Years (and years!) ago I ran a GURPS game where the players were the aircrew of a Beaufort Ftr/Bomber based in Cairo - bomb runs & anti-shipping & hvy fighter sweeps, but also clandestine resupply of the LRDG, a little cthulhu-esque mummy action, spies in Cairo, etc.  Great fun.

I'd like a game of Night Witches, but I don't have the time to organize it.

Does that make 4 or 5 that want to play NW? Maybe we (I) should post in GM Wanted?
