Anyone interested in helping me learn Torg Eternity? I've got the Core Rules as well as the Drama Deck, and would love to get some experience playing.

After a bit of a hiccup (PM me if you really want the details) I can begin to start up a Torg Eternity game here. I'd want to know what you were looking for.

I've got two concepts initially: one is a Pulp Nile Sorcerer investigator, and the other is a Frankenstein's Monster-type from Orrorsh who now hunts monsters. Do either of those strike a chord with you? If not, and you have a specific plot idea in mind, we can work out details together. To be honest, I'd be content playing through the various Day One scenarios to start. :)

I'm up for playing almost anything. I've got several character concepts kicking around in the back of my head, so I can fit almost any role in the party. I tend towards combat characters, but am pretty open.

I am more concerned at the moment with when and where the players want to start in the Torg Cosmverse. The "standard" opening is Day 90 of the Possibility Wars, but I can start earlier, even Day 1 if you like. Day 1 requires the characters to be at a single invasion site and would impose certain character relations into the storyline before play. It also limits the characters to Core Earth or the particular reality invading the starting location and starts the group before their Moment of Crisis (and hence must develop reality skill during play). After Day 1, characters are assumed to have had their Moment of Crisis and must assign at least one skill add to reality, but assumes that characters from any reality are recruited by the Delphi Council and assigned to work together.

Once we have when established, the question of where must be answered. I can start people anywhere they like. Or we can leave that open. Just let me know what the group prefers.

Hearing no overriding preferences, I will set up a Day 90 campaign where the characters start on an aircraft carrier outside transformed New York City. Look for a game callee "The Possibility Wars". I'm not sure how long it will take to set up, but I will work on it as I can.
