(DnD) Need help finding a home for an angry goblin.

So I looked into the history of goblins and found it quite interesting and was inspired with the idea of a rather complicated idea for a goblin. The main problem comes from the fact it goes off the 3.5 story of the Raven Queen but the 5E class builds because while I'm familiar with 3.5 core classes to a point it's more the core ones and casters...not so much martial and hybrids or prestige classes.  So I dont know how the idea would work in 3.5 mainly I dont think there is a feat in 3.5 that let's warlocks use CHA for attack rolls and bonus.

The general idea is he served his god as a pally till he came across records of and learned of his races past and learned of the true goblin god and what happened at which point he became an oathbraker and evechaly found information about the raven queen and promised to serve her if she helped free his people. Well his/her I dont care not sure what would be more interesting yet... anyway they became a warlock to her in order to gain power and one day kill the goblin god and ether free the soul of the devoured old god...or if there is nothing left of it...devour the gods remains and become a new and true goblin god. Would be especially animate about killing goblins and sending them to the raven queen to be freed.

Ofcorse I supose if there is no way to work this into 3.5 they could be a particularly marshal and bloody cleric with next to no healing. lol

As I am not sure 3.5 pallys have any oaths that realy apply as the char would be realy evil just selfish particularly for there races wellbeing.

I dont have a game for you...but.

edit...i do have games that have room for that kind of character...but not ones where you could explore the storyline you mentioned.

Bow of songs from MIC uses charisma for attacks and damage but it requires bardic music uses, or if you have a high enough UMD it works too.

Slippers of battle dancing from DMG 2 also uses cha for attacks and damage, but only if you moved 10 ft. That turn and you are using a light or one handed weapon.

There is also the gauntlet of heartfelt blows, but it only adds to damage

Snowflake Wardance adds your Charisma modifier to attacks with any slashing melee weapon wielded in one hand, explicitly stacking with other bonuses.

someone one went to the work of consolidating all references that allows "X" ability to be swapped for "Y" ability.

Re: (DnD) Need help finding a home for an angry goblin.

In 3.5, paladins can smite a certain number of times per day. The attack in those moments add the charisma modifier to the attack roll.

If you really want a "soul" theme, I would point you to the Soulborn, though. As the paladin, the soulborn can smite the opposition (If you are a LE Soulborn you can smite any chaotic or good character) and with the feat Saphire Smite, it can smite more times per day. Soulborn is from magic of Incarnum and introduces a new subsystem based in incarnum or souls.

For example, you can ask for the help of your past gobling warrior in the form of Bluesteel Bracers to gain a bonus on initiative and weapon damage rolls.

Re: (DnD) Need help finding a home for an angry goblin.

Well just trying to justify a little goblin having a sword and doing a lot of damage.... there magic being the sorce of there damage makes a lot more sense than there strength but I guess dex would have to be an alternitive.... that or just have a buff goblin.  *shrugs*

Re: (DnD) Need help finding a home for an angry goblin.

If that is the case, why not just go Educated Wilder?

Take the first power Precognition Offensive to get bonus to attack. Your second power Prescience, Offensive to get bonus to damage. At fifth level take Expanded Knowledge Expansion to become a large goblin.

Re: (DnD) Need help finding a home for an angry goblin.

is there maybe another 5th ed god/goddess/being that could serve as the sorce of the hex-blade pact?

one that could promise (truthful) to deliver the goblins and anyone he killed with his hex-blade to an afterlife other than (and better than) the one they where ill fated to?

that is to say...... he could send them some where other than some hellscape like the goblin afterlife by killing them.
