Looking for a few options
Hi all & thx for reading.

I'm a strong writer, and a frequent, if irregular, poster.

Concepts, story, engagement - all much more important to me than the mechanics.

Anything from a solo to a small group (2-4 inc. me) is my preference.

I'd love love love a Birthright D&D game - anyone remember that setting?

A WWII game would be awesome, but I just can't play the baddies (or the Russians these days)

-If If If- you're open to running a solo, maybe we can swap?  There are a lot of things I could run.

What system would you be interested in doing for a WWII campaign?

Have you heard of Gear Krieg?  It's an alternate WWII era game with... mechs!  By the same company that did Jovian Chronicles and Heavy Gear.

Have you ever played Battletech (or more appropriatly Mechwarrior) before?

If it was a solo game trade, what games are you more familiar with to GM?

BB: I have SWSE, but as a player, Im agnostic.  It's the story I care about.

YYKN: I'd love to take a look at it.  I'll find it. [Edit: I didn't find it.  Pls send link.]

pdb: I am partial the the gurps wwii that was brilliantly covered in G3, but as player, idk.  && yes, I have heard of Gear Kreig but know nothing about it, really.  Have played MW & Jobian a long time ago.

Im best at telling low-fantasy stories, and gritty future/near future vehicle stories- autoduel, mecha, star wars, post-apocalypse etc.

Birthright... now that brings back ancient memories...
Tighmeavril, bloodlines, Rhoubhe Manslayer, The Gorgon. The kingdom of Rhoesone fighting off the Baron of Ghoere...
Fond, fond memories...

I also see you mention Autoduel. I run a mostly storydriven wastelanmd apocalypse game that is a mixture of mad max and walking dead with a healthy dose of deathrace and autoduel. Feel free to come check it out.

I found a great Ars Magica and Battletech game!  Still hoping beyond hope for a Birthright game, using any system (though would love a 5e version)

And a Star Wars game, today!

Who wants to run a solo or hero-sidekick Birthright game for me?
