When I think cosy plus looking for adventure, I think of the 1937 edition of
The Hobbit.
Is that a fair take on what you're after?
I'm a dad. My kids are now almost all adults. I have time to invest here, doing text play by post gaming. I like faster paced games - a post a day or more is right in my preferred pace (real life permitting).
I would prefer to run something on the lite side.
There and Back Again by Ray Otus.
Maybe that in concept, but mixed with a bit of
Dungeon Crawlers.
The two games are mechanically close (though developed by entirely different people), there's a lot of cross over.
I'm open to discussing options, at least.
