Heya, I've been hankering for
WarCraft RPG action...
At this point, however, and at the risk of wanting in one hand and wishing in the other, I'd settle for one of the Independent adventures in the backs of the supplemental books. Preferably above
5th level, and with a strong preference for the original line -- with the black and white artwork.
This way...
- Game Master does not have to worry about adapting an entire module into something!
- We can all sidestep the tired faction war narrative and just play adventurers! ...if I had to choose a faction, though, especially since, while I prefer the WarCraft RPG due to relative accessibility the World of WarCraft RPG has more one-shots to it, I'm going to say Alliance.
- People get more legroom!
- The original line is super-compatible with the d20 3.5 System Reference Document and does not require antics or hunting books down at used book stores for a one-shot! ...though, I'm sure the Level Adjusted Races would probably need Lesser Level-Adjusted Race status.
I'm only interested in the White Wolf books! While they're a little shaky when compared to how things work in a
WarCraft computer game, they're still good at telling
WarCraft stories -- in a d20 way. Real charming, too.
Safe travels!
