Does anyone feel up for running a Theogenesis campaign? It seems like they used to be all over the place before but they have started to dissapear. I'm too inexperienced to run one but I'd love to be in a game :)

What makes you interested in such a game?

Playing a deity of some kind opens up so many interesting ways to play a character, watch them grow and see what happens in the world. I'm already in a Theogenesis game but I need more and I hope other people agree with me. It's an interesting way to play a roleplaying game as opposed to other systems like DnD, for example :)

If I recall correctly it's a homebrew system that started on RPOL years back and people used it in several games since then with their own modifications. I don't know what the original game is called but if you search 'Theogenesis' in the Browse Games you can click on any game and read through the systems in there to get a better idea of how it works :) It's even possible as a freeform system with zero mechanics as long as everything is written down so everyone is on the same page.
