I am looking to get back into roleplaying after several years out.
Particularly looking for Dark Heresy (1E, can do 2E if needed) or Imperium Maledictum game. I would be open for Adult or Mature game, but not a necessity.

Playing out of Norway, so there could be some timelag on posting due to time zones.

Likewise, WH40K is always a welcome sight :)

Personally I can't imagine using the DH1 ruleset when DH2 and IM are both available. DH1, RT, DW are beta tests for a game that matured in BC and OW.

If there's a GM up to running DH, I would like to play a Templar Calixis psyker, if that's an option (I don't know if it still exists in 2E but I'm sure we can work something out).

Also up for a 40k game.

Ah, 40K, that fun and wonderful game with a ton of scuffed rules and a cool setting but nobody can GM for it longer than a few months at the most T_T

I am not familiar with DH2 but I ran campaigns with Rogue Trader, Only War, and Deathwatch. I could probably knock something together in DH2 if you promise not to ghost immediately after character creation or during the first combat.

I mean, I'd be game to check it out, I do like the setting and I'm pretty loyal, assuming the playerbase works out anyway.

Just, please, for the love of all that's good, please don't open us up with a "Get to know each other" ball thrown in our court.  I find that it's a lot better to have people get to know each other in media res than to force everyone to spend a week doing random RP, nothing kills engagement faster from my experience, while most of the games that have done fairly well had things start off fairly structured rather than just expecting the players to make all of their own fun.

You can get away with that, but not for 40K RPs from my experience.

Initially, I have gone with Imperium Maledictum. If anyone are game I could put something together running the published stories to get started.

Imperium Maledictum seems really good. There's also Wrath & Glory, which I've heard can handle different levels of play as well. But DH2 also seems like fun.
