Re: OOC Thread 5

Fuse - another little bit of admin (besides resolving what was recovered from the BTR) is that the RPG-7 launcher on the BMP was smashed but the 3 rockets were recovered.  Mitch intended to give them to the RPG guy in Volodya's squad but I'm not sure that that ever happened, or whether the RPG-7 launcher that was on the BTR was recovered with any of it's 3 rockets.

In reply to Robert Mitchell (msg #31):

The 3 rounds that were with Mitch are currently the ones listed in the stores.

The other RPG-7 is with Volodya's men along with their 3 rounds.

Nothing was lost except for the launcher getting wrecked.

Re: OOC Thread 5

Ah - ok - thanks and sorry for my confusion.

Depending on what Volodya's squad decide to do it might be worth giving them those 3 extra RPG-7 rockets as we don't have a launcher any more!

Rooke has a slight wound to his left arm that Mike treated.

It's very recent - it was either during the battle where we lost the M113 or it was in the battle at the fort just afterwards.  I think that it was a gunshot wound where the round just clipped him.

It was probably some days ago, but I think Weiss took some shrapnel to the neck and had a concussion.  Concussions can take some time and the neck wound wasn't really specified except as something he could continue to fight with.

Henry Jordan - WIA (Unlikely to return to combat ops soon)
Krzysztof Kaminski - WIA (Unlikely to return to combat ops soon)
Otto - WIA (Unlikely to return to combat ops soon)

Oskar was not wounded in the day's battle I believe.

Varis took some fragments from the grenade exchange in the hallway.  Mike has treated this wound.

Ben was hit in the upper leg while crossing the street (When Tom died).  Mike also did not diagnose or treat this, but I believe he put a dressing on it.

Rooke took a bullet or fragment to the arm while in the fort.  Mike treated this.

Meyer was wounded before Mike joined the unit, I don't know the details.  Mike treated him as soon as he got to the unit.  He also has crutches.

Frank took a pair of bullets to the leg in the hallway at about the same time Varis did.  Mike treated this.

I don't have track of the wounded gang members, except I know Volodya got hit in the leg while assaulting through the woods (Battle where we lost the M113).  I think that's also where most other gang members were hit.  Mike has not looked at these men.

Fox was shot in the chest in the same battle by the M113.  His wound went untreated until after the battle of the fort.

Young was hit in in the leg in the attack on the BMP and T-80.  Mike has treated this wound.

Jordan was hit in the egress from the railyard.  I'm not sure where or how bad, but I know Mike treated him.

Kaminski and Otto were both wounded in the BTR.  Kaminski has burns, Otto has a head wound, and might be burned.

Stone was shot badly in the thigh while out scavenging with Oskar, Handley, and Kaminski.  He was left in the hospital under their care, with a minimum of 24 hour time needed in the Hospital.

In reply to Mike Catchings (msg #39):

A good summary but a rather bloody one!

Just to add that Otto was unconscious when Mitch pulled him from the BTR and hadn't regained consciousness by the time we dropped them at the hospital (I believe) so I suspect that his head wound could be quite serious.

I though that Jordan was really badly wounded from Fuse's description at the time - I was half expecting him to die from his wounds....

Oskar took a slight wound at the first tank battle, before he shot Jan.

Two slights at the trench battle.

All taken care of after their respective combats.

Meyer got messed up at the trench battle. I believe you mentioned he'd be ready for combat capable for tomorrow... or at least gone down to a scratch or minor wound. I can't remember which though.

Morale wise, he is ready for duty.

OOC - Mitch. Methuselah has a Minimi, not a SAW, but if you have compatible ammo that would be great!

Isn't Minimi simply the original name for the M249 SAW?  I think that the Minimi was re-designated the M249 SAW when it was add adopted by the US Military.

Fair enough - I didn't realise - I will respond IC.

Volodya says to Kurt, "Ammo. My squad needs more ammo replacing. AK74... grenades... and a new radio." Although angered and lacking motivation to have a go at it again tomorrow, Volodya's request was clear signal that that they would at least stick around for a while longer.

Fuse - Volodya may have returned it but Rooke gave Volodya Handley's radio after Handley died and Rooke discovered that Voldoya's radio was broken.

Re: OOC Thread 5

From looking at the party stores list something has occurred to me.  We have 1300 .50 rounds and no Browning .50 Cal any more.  When Helmut is requesting additional 5.56mmN belts maybe we should donate the thirteen .50 belts to the IB as they might be able to use them.

Otherwise they're just dead weight that we're lugging around for no apparent reason.

EDIT - the same is true for loose 7.62mmL rounds.  Do we have any weapons that fire this now?  If there isn't should offer it all to the IB, even if it is part of a rapidly organised trade?

I agree with this. We hauling crap we can't use but others can. Fuse already said way back when we traded with the IB that the extra firepower would be taken into consideration for how the battle goes.

I say trade it or just donate it. Or even see if we can't get some more able bodies to reinforce us?

If we're sitting around for several hours then a mini mission (possibly one handled off camera as such) could be for us to deliver some ammo to the front line (if such a thing exists).
