Actually, cancel my last. I'll be away next weekend instead. Hope that isn't too short notice to get in your new PCs :D

Post up asap.

My new PC will be ex-Royal Catering Corps, now working as a security guard in a branch of Marks & Spencer in Melton Mowbray. How he got to Poland is another story...

You know, you're only tempting me to kill off Caleb so we can get that kinda guy in the game.

Re: OOC Thread 9

Ok, turn is up.

Please don't forget to delete ammo fired.

Revised Target List:

MG Nest - Inactive. Nobody is visible in the trench by any of the (active) PCs, but Marshall is calling out that he saw movement near the gun. Of the two man crew, one has been confirmed hit and the other is a possible hit.

Center Slit Trench - Both riflemen here are no longer visible. It's likely that one or both are wounded/incapacitated.

BTR-70 - Burning.

Camp - No targets visible in or around the modular tent, soft-skin vehicles, or entrance to the monastery.

Enemy On Wall - Two targets were observed firing a rifle and grenade launcher through large holes in the wall (from the ramparts). One has been hit and the other suppressed so neither are visible right now.

Re: OOC Thread 9

Seems we're a little slower than last time getting in most of the posts so I don't think that I'll be able to get the turn up before I'm gone for the weekend. Turn up when I back, see you then.

In reply to Fusilier (msg # 965):

Sorry, been having a manic week but will catch up over the weekend.  The short version is that I resigned from my job earlier this week, as I have a new one starting in January, and things have been a bit busy ever since.

Sorry,

Re: OOC Thread 9

Does anyone know how effective a smoke grenade is in the rain?  I've assumed that it's effectiveness is reduced but that it should still provide some concealment but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ta,

Andy.

Just as effective, it's more dependent on wind.

Okay, I'm back from the long weekend and have the turn up.

Reposting JJM's breakdown of Sierra...

Team A > Caleb, Per and Major McCarthy
Team B > Billy, Joe and Will
Team C > Mike and Tommy

Team B stays here and provides fire support
Teams A and C will rush out and find a position to fire from.
Team A takes the left first.
Team C takes the right second.

Fuse - I assume that as we are close enough to hear voices we are in hand grenade range. If we are nowhere near let me know and I will change post.

I can't check the actual range right now, but the trench Caleb is in is within throwing range of the the next line of trenches further in that are occupied. It'll take a good and strong throw however.

You picked a good time to settle here (in AZ). It's going to be in the low nineties this week!
