Re: Discussion - Classes

Hence the reason it would be AWESOME...  hmmm.. I might have to think about this one... I’ve already got hundreds of ideas running around my head... maybe I’ll have to try and convince Palpatine and Princess to bump me up to GM status so that I could run something like this...  *runs off to bake some cookies*

o.O

Sorry, had bad experiences with a player playing a Kobold character. Played it darn near useless and the guy made it almost impossible for the group to meet without him. Then he up and left.

So with a group of Kobolds/Jawas played in a fun but not other player limiting way, I guess it could be fine.

PC True Edge:
o.O

That, that would just be wrong. For some reason I'm thinking it would be like having a Kobold PC in a DnD campaign. Only the entire party is kobolds....

O.o

Y'know, one of my D&D games had a kobold character in the party.  He turned out to be one of the most fun and memorable characters in that group.  Total team player and managed to handle all sorts of things other players just tried to avoid.  Even managed to kill three giants and get the party Rogue out of one of their stomachs.

I'd say a jawa PC could be awesome, with the right player.  Then again, the same player with the kobold wanted me to run a Star Wars game and let him play a giant albino dark Jedi jawa.  (I refused, so one of our other players ran the game and let him do it, instead.  I have yet to wipe the shame from my hands.)  Barring total madness, it might work out just fine.

Just as they don't succum to the 'Jar Jar' disease of interseting and unique characters; being an annoying ****.

Re: Discussion - Classes

Alright, GM Palpatine gave me the Ok to do this as long as I can come up with at least three interested players.  Ideally I would be looking for 4-5 players with 3-4 Jawas and 1 Droid.  So, who's interested?

I'm tempted, but I was kinda hoping to save my second character for a Jedi...  Well, we'll see.

Re: Discussion - Classes

All Jawa game...that sounds pretty cool.  Definitely one that I'd love to be able to read the threads after it is played.

Re: Discussion - Classes

I'm thinking Clone Wars, Prior to Episode I, Maybe Way way back in the Old Republic.  But first things first, we need to get at least two more people to show interest before we can even get it off of the ground... I wonder why rankaratar hasn't started jumping for joy wanting to play... he was the one that wanted to play a Jawa in the first place... I'm also thinking of allowing one of the Jawas to be a "Witch Doctor" Having Force Sensitivity and a few "mystical Powers" (No Jedi classes, but someone could take the feats)

Re: Discussion - Classes

Be sure NOT to count me in on the Jawa game.  It sounds cool, but I'm already two character committed at this point.

(Just making sure you don't think you have more prospective players than you by way of miscount on account of my comment <grin> )

Re: Discussion - Classes

That's two. :)

I'm thinking of making a scout.  My brother jmkool is considering playing.  He might be interested in playing the 'witch doctor' type Jawa.  I dunno.

Re: Discussion - Classes

Droids would work, Jawas like droids.
So... a clan of a scout Jawa, a weapons Jawa (me, I like big guns), a Witchdoctor Jawa and a robot.

Re: Discussion - Classes

Count me in.  Witch Docter, maybe a Noble?  Maybe both?  I will look into this...

Maybe the adventure could take place in the beginning of the Rebellion era.  It starts with us out in the deserts of Tatooine, and we pick up two wandering droids, a 3PO and an R2...  Of course, we'd have to escape the empire when they blast the sand crawler.

Something that could conceivably wind up on Tatooine and is wimpy enough to get a restraining bolt smacked on it by a lowly Jawa :p
