I presume you mean in the morning when our clothes come back, but sure, that sounds like a good idea. Maybe JEB could collect her bonus for her.

We can wait til tomorrow morning.  Cathc her on the way out I guess.  I have a feeling she's patient and would want our horses to rest another day.  Probably be mad at us if we didn't wait.  I wish we'd arranged something before we got into town.

Indeed, I agree, we were in town before I realized it. Still seems like she should have something coming her way.

I think she had a liking for one of horses she was riding.

"I thinks you mean my horse now."  Randy interrupts the exchange between the other pokes.

"Archie, you weren't with us when she and her ilk came up to steal the horses."  Randy removes his suit jacket.  "She got to keep her life.

"When it comes to bringin' them beeves to the pens, well, she got to keep her life again abouts when she was in this town.  Then she gots food and water and protection while she was with us.  She done got what was coming her way."

Randy fumbles with the buttons on his shirt.  "That don't mean I is gonna let a girl walk all alone out there.  I figgurs you boys wants to find her just like me.  We can manage it."

JEB and Cole remain the only cowboys yet to see the Major. Rojas looks at the sheriff.

"Are you ready, lawman?" he asks.

JEB nods, knocks twice and enters the room.

Art glances at Randy as he interrupts, then looks back to Travis. “Then there’s that opinion. What do you think?”

Once JEB has completed his interview, Rojas looks to Cole Trayne. "Y usted?"

Randy starts to fume when the words are uttered.  "You ain't no Buffalo, you little Mary.  You best knows your place 'cause you gonna get put in it right quick.  And so's we're clear -- I is the one to put you there."

After the briefest of pauses, Randy adjusts his posture and his position to within five feet of the man he calls Archie.  "One more word is all it'll take."

I'd say thats enough.  Nobody's a Buffalo anymore.  If the girl makes a claim for wages that's between her and the Major.  She did raid us.  She lost her horse.  I'm good with that.  I just want to make sure she's not forgotten.  Without her there would have been more killing.  That's for sure.  If she needs our help to move on or talk to the Major I don't mind helping with that.

Sitting on his cot organizing his gear Art nods in agreement with Travis. "She may hang around out side of the town to see if we come out. I don’t want to hang around here too long, because I can’t say I feel much like pushing things with Jacob. But I guess that’s on him."

Looking at Randy, Art says “I’ll speak my mind when and where I please, thank you.”

Travis Sunday rolled 10 using 1d20+8. initiative.

OOC: The Judge is treating this as a Showdown. All three men must make an Intimidate check (it is a skill that may be used untrained). Any and all Initiative checks made will still apply, but the results of the Showdown may alter the Initiative results.

All three men should state what they intend to do in the fast draw round. It would be best if such actions are stated privately. A reminder: in the fast draw round, a cowboy gets a SINGLE action--that is, EITHER a move or an attack action.

Once all three men have provided a check result for Intimidation, the Judge will adjudicate the Initiative order and adjudicate the actions in the fast draw round.

JEB leaves the Major's room. Cole Trayne is the only remaining cowboy yet to have his interview with the trail boss. Rojas stares at him.

"The Major, he can not wait forever."
