We will use a 30 point ability buy. You have 30 points to use to set your 6 ability scores:

10 - 2
11 - 3
12 - 4
13 - 5
14 - 6
15 - 8
16 - 10
17 - 13
18 – 16

Of course, you could adjust that however you wanted, within the 30-point buy. Taking two 15s or an 18 results in a buy something like:
