Rules and Standards
This is a work in progress. Posting these things as I think of them--and likely doing some edits along the way.
1. We will use the RPOL dice roller. You can read the FAQ about that, or ask for help.
2. Please use the OOC (Out of Character) threads for conversation outside of your character--players talking to players--when it isn't directly connected to the action. Feel free to post questions about rules and such anytime (or send a private message to the Judge).
3. For actual game play, post your replies in the Chapter we are playing. Please feel free to describe your actions, post dialogue or character thoughts in the Chapter. You can certainly post OOC comments when it applies to the gameplay, inside the Chapter messages. (see below)
4. Format all dialogue in Orange.
5. Format all personal character thoughts in italic.
6. Place all OOC chatter, including results of dice rolls, in its own paragraph, with OOC: in bold before it.
7. Feel free to put whatever you want in your character's Bio1 line. In Bio2, please put the following: D:20 G:100 MDT:18 A:0 substituting your scores where I have put examples. D = Defense (use Normal); G = Grit; MDT = Massive Damage Threshold; A = Action Points.
Example post:
Jasper positions himself behind the large oak and readies his trusty Loomis. I reckon I'll need both barrels to scare off that hard case. Hooking his finger around both triggers, he yells out "I'd turn tail now, while you still have the chance. Good old Mr. Loomis is itchin' to meet ya." With that he steps out from behind the tree and aims the shotgun.
OOC: Ok, so that's an intimidation attempt on my pursuer. Rolled 19 on that, let's see if the so-and-so can beat that!
