Cast of Characters
I got this idea from a C&C game I am playing in. A simple thing to give people a rough idea of who you're playing out of character. I will place a status under those who drop out or are temporarily absent from game if they've played for a long time.

Here's an example.

Character Name: Jorun
Race: Human
Class: Assassin.
Level: 3rd
Physical Description: Jorun is a wiry angular fellow with a friendly disposition. Always ready with a smile to compliment his handsome features he seems a man who can appreciate a good laugh over a frothing mug or one who might talk it up with the upper class if he bothered to tend to his five o'clock shadow and dress up a bit. Despite his pleasant nature he rarely wanders about unarmed and walks with the bearing of someone at least slightly competent in the use of his weapons. Occasionally though he seems lost in thought his eyes focused on something distant as though he was paying attention to something only he could see or hear.

I have PM'd a template to all of my present players so that they might fill one out and drop one in here when they have the time.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Bryan Hawthorn
Race: Human
Class: Sorceror
Level: 1
Group: RETIRED
Physical Description: Bryan is a lean and slender looking man, with a driven look about him. His dark black hair, with a few streaks of silverish white in them only helps to make him look more extreme than he already is. There is no doubt that this man has a Goal and pursues it with great passion. He's obviously no warrior, lacking the apparent muscle or combat readiness of any battled hardened man. But ... neither is he a scholar, unprepared for what the road has to offer.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Orrin Maelar
Race: Human
Class: Rogue
Level: 2
Group: Darkmoon Vale
Physical Description: Orrin stands at an average height and weight with little about him that sticks out. He has worked hard to maintain this facade of mediocrity and it has thus paid off. His body's build is overlooked in favor of those whom can swing a sword, but hides a deft hand, a quick foot, and a bandolier of daggers that many cannot match.
His features are smooth and young, with black hair cut short and green eyes that smile even in dangerous places.
Combined with a crooked smile and biting sense of humor, Orrin has become quite adept at his profession of "locksmith"

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Ryalt Bilon
Race: Half Orc
Class: Paladin
Level: 1
Group: RETIRED
Physical Description:  Ryalt is a well muscled half-orc over six and a half feet in height. His skin is a dull greenish-grey and his body is covered in light brown hair. He keeps his hair clipped short and sports a well groomed beard. Small tusks jut from his lower jaw even when his mouth is closed. He walks with a smooth and confident stride. His thunderous laugh seems to echo for miles.

The portrait archive actually had a pretty decent avatar for Ryalt.  It's pretty similar to the way I envisioned him.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Jaime Kin'daile
Race: Half-Elf
Class: Bard
Level: 1
Group: RETIRED
Physical Description: Before you stands a young man, human by first glance, though his green eyes and slightly tipped ears give away his elven blood. The man is clearly a traveler, with high leather boots which meet his long green tunic, edged with runic markings. Beneath his tunic, the man wears a light suit of leather armor, and the crossbow at his side labels him an adventurer. Over his clothing, a dark blue cloak is bound by a curving silver clasp. Upon this cloak is pinned a brooch in the likeness of a butterfly - marking his devotion to Desna. He has a kind look on his face, a charismatic smile and a twinkle in his deep green eyes. He has short brown hair, tousled from his travels. He clutches a prayer book in his left hand while he extends his right hand to shake yours - grinning.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Mercy Karickson
Race: Half Elf
Class: Cleric of Cayden Cialean
Level: 1
Group: RETIRED
Physical Description: A man of 19 summers, Mercy is able-bodied though lanky at almost 6 feet tall. His nicely dyed blue cloak shows signs of the countryside. At his breast falls a medallion engraved with a dented mug marking his devotion to Cayden Cialean. At his right hip a rapier hangs casually above unassuming leather trousers. Mercy is the kind of boy who always looks like he has a secret. His long blond hair is almost girlish in its luster, and he often swoops it from his eyes with a flick of his head. The hair covers ears that are ever-so-pointed. His smooth complexion and fine features make for a handsome, if delicate, appearance. They also hint at his mixed heritage, but he carries himself with little self-consciousness and few traces of vanity.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Siala Arivanna
Race: Half Elf
Class: Ranger
Level: 1
Group: RETIRED
Physical Description:
Siala is of average height and weight, with long auburn hair and blue eyes. Her hair is often plaited so that one could see her slightly pointed ears. The elven heritage can also be noticed when looking at her high cheekbones and the slightly almond shaped eyes.

Siala wears a green tunic and dark brown pants, both items adorned with elvish embroidery, leaves and flowers. Sometimes she is seen wearing a rather simple leather armor, by no means made by elves. She carries a beautifully crafted longbow with complicated looking carvings and a shortsword in a simple scabbard at her side. The quiver, also of elven styling with lots of ornaments, is filled with white-and-brown feathered arrows.

Siala usually rides a horse, a black silver dapple light footed mare.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Andra Flameseeker
Race: Dwarf
Class: Fighter
Level: 1
Group: RETIRED
Physical Description: Andra is a dwarven woman of medium built - that is medium for a dwarf, most other races would probably view her four feet of height as rather small. Though that is something she doesn't like to hear at all. She is of stocky built and her long, red hair is usually worn in a thick braid. Thin yellow and orange twines are interwoven with the hair enhancing the impression that the hair is the color of fire. Brown eyes look out of a plain face. Slight creases around those eyes suggest that she like to laugh frequently and indeed, a smile plays around her lips more often then not. It is difficult to say how old she is, but she is neither an unseasoned youth nor a venerable, old dwarf.

Over leather pants and jerkin she wears a shining chain shirt. On her back she carries a backpack and two pouches are fastened to the belt, next to a dagger. Her greatest pride is the greataxe she carries. The haft is made from dark brown, nearly black wood and the axe head is completely polished, dwarven runes are carved into the steel that covers the upper part of the shaft, the runes highlighted with messing - or even gold?. Those in the world that can read this script, can easily decipher: "Strong as steel" on one side, "unyielding as the mountains" on the other. She is accompanied by a black mule, carrying a pack saddle.

Level: 2nd
Physical Description: Kilain stands tall for all of his 4'7. His stout Dwarven body seems built for powering through the caverns he was bred in. His brown eyes shine on a well tanned face that has a good portion of it covered with his reddish brown unruly hair that sprouts from his head and face in the form of a thick beard and moustache. He carries a Well Made Warhammer maked with Torags runes. A Light Crossbow is never far from his hand. Many of his friends call him 'The Hammer'.

Race: Elf
Class: Ranger

Physical Description: Amilynn is petite and thin, very pretty but completely unaware of the fact.  She is very sweet but shy at first.  Amilynn is also very loyal and helpful, very easy to get along with.  She tends to wear homemade clothes either leathers or homespun cloths she can get from farmers' wives, her way of providing a little bit of help to the proud, hardworking women of the small villages she frequents.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Nenor
Race: Half-elf
Class: Monk
Level: 2nd
Physical Description: Tall and well built, Nenor is a handsome young man with the best of features from both his human and elven parents.  He typically wears simple, practical robes of his monastic order, with a hood that he only pulls up on cold, rainy days.  His dark hair is cut short, with a single, short braid at the back, hanging down his neck.  Nenor's eyes are green, and along with his slightly pointed ears are the clearest sign of his elven heritage.

Raised among contemplative monks, Nenor knows much of the virtues of patience, and he rarely rushes into situations without first concidering all options.  He doesn't talk much beyond what is needed, having never been a man of words, and he prefers to let his actions speak for him.

Re: Cast of Characters

Character Name: Naemar Shouren
Race: Elf
Class: Fighter.
Level: 2nd
Physical Description:
Naemar is one of, if not the tallest, elf that hails from Shouren lineage though he has the lithe build of an acrobat and the supple strength of one as well.  He has been told that he has his great-grandmother's eyes but no one is quite sure how he comes by his color of hair as the entire Shouren line has darker-toned hair.

When not accoutered for duty, Naemar prefers to wear fine clothing, though if he must he will wear clothing of a lesser quality as he now finds himself doing.  His prefered color tones are grey, aqua, and a deep emerald or evergreen.

When on duty, ready to do battle, or traveling, he wears a chain shirt with two short swords and a light mace on his belt.  Across his back is a composite shortbow and quiver while slung over his right shoulder may be a backpack depending on circumstance.

Quiet but friendly, he has a wry sense of humor when not being serious.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Tenal Susuk
Race: Human
Class: Sorcerer
Level: 2
Group: Darkmoon Vale
Physical Description: A tall, lean, younger looking man with a disheveled appearance, whose body hair tends to stiffen at odd moments. Black hair with odd jagged white stripes and light blue eyes highlight his face. His clothes declare he is ready for travel at a moment's notice. He's constantly fidgeting, always moving. While this could make people nervous, his winning, carefree smile eases most tension. Quick to laugh and joke, he's ready to make friends with you, too.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Calanthis Nightbreeze
Race: Elf
Class: Bard
Level: 2
Group: Darkmoon Vale

Physical description: Though definitely young, the woman before you had the old-fashioned, noble features of a provincial lady and the delicate traits of an elf adorning a well-proportioned form. If she were a human, she would be in her early twenties. Below her travel worn cloak, a snow-white silk shirt outlined relatively broad shoulders, while light honey trousers matching her soft, creamy skin played upon a tight waist flaring into rounded hips and svelte legs.

Her ebony hair absorbed light like ink, its lush waves revealing carefully groomed eyebrows and a pair of eyes that pooled in soft curves of deep, glossy amber.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Aeric Alricson
Race: Human
Class: Bard
Level: 1
Group: 2

Physical description: Aeric is past his prime physically, although he was never any great paragon of physicality. He carries a certain physcial appeal, although that is somewhat lost by his unkempt appearance. Aeric is commonly disheveled, thanks to frequent late nights, with unkept long hair, ever-present salt-and-pepper stubble, and he usually smells slightly of smoke and various chemicals - even if he's just bathed.
His clothing tends to be haphazard, usually consisting of whatever clean (or mostly clean) clothing he could find that day. Aeric can commonly be found with a book in hand, and his fingers, when not holding a quill or piece of charcoal, are usually stained with ink and charcoal in some mixture.

The dark skin around his neck is blemished by an odd birthmark, when he had been a baby it had been no more than a ruddy mark but as Elyas grew older it become more distinctive and colourful appearing almost as if he wears many coloured scarf.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Toddy Shelfungus
Race: Gnome
Class: Cavalier
Level: 1st
Group: #2 terrible name
Physical Description: Toddy seems a nice fellow most of the time but has the notoriously odd Gnomish sense of humor.
He is personally one of the most colorful folks you might see, his 2’ 6” frame decorated by melted amber eyes, light blue-green skin, parts darkened by the sun.  His face framed by his piebald hair of green and brown, as well black painted iron riding helm, its brown trim, and darker brown eye guards circling.  His hide armor, the laces, the waxed hide plates, his greaves, each part dyed or more probably stained a different color with berries and plants then waxed.
When asked where he got the hide Toddy simply pats the shoulder of his almost constant Companion Steelfur the Wolf his trusty steed, loyal companion, and says "He knows Gnome-friends from not.
The two other trusted companions complete the set; hanging on his left from a baldric that disappears under his armor he carries a scimitar, on his right shoved in a belt, his drinking horn.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Tork Ben-jiri
Race: Human
Class: Transmutation Wizard
Level: 1st

Physical Description: Tork looks and acts remarkably like his name. As he combs the forest floor for his master in search for spell components, he pays no regard to the dirt that accumulates on his knees and elbows. Otherwise he can be seen alone in the city streets, seeingly occupied with a mysterious objective known only to him.

He wears generic teenage clothing that allows him to move, jump, and tumble. Spells are all well and good as his trade, but its plants and using his body that interest him the most. His red hair and sharp features stand out as you speak with him, as does his gaze which seems to insist that you get to the point already.

Re: Cast of Characters
Character Name: Dame Abigail "Abby" Lightfoot
Race: Human
Class: Paladin
Level: 2nd
Height: 5' 8" or so
Weight: 130#
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Eye Color: Green
Skin Tone: Tan
Group: #2
Description:
Taller than most women and as tall as many men, Abby often attracts some attention.  Her svelte figure is toned, not to the point of being muscled bound, and moves with an easy grace.  Her long dark brown hair is has just a touch of wave, although she often keeps it in a ponytail when she expects trouble.    She prefers to dress in green, which match her eyes, or darker shades of blue.   She has a relaxed air about her, that makes her fit in a tavern more than a temple.   She carries a longsword at her left hip, which seems quite at home there.  About her neck is the silver necklace with a symbol of a sword, seemingly with light sparkling off the area near the crossguard.

Abby is quite gregarious, comfortable talking to people from all walks of life.   She often has a glint of mischief in her expression, and often lets innuendo invade her speech.  She enjoys life, and will try to look out for the less fortunate, especially children.
