Re: Rath's Initiative?
Yes, I think you're right about not combining the 5' step and the move action in one turn. That's why I acted out of turn (in round 6) rather than taking an additional action (in round 5). My own 5' step in round 5 let me avoid an AoO when I moved in round 6.

But, however you want to handle it is fine with me. I just don't want to die!

Re: Rath's Initiative?
For some reason I thought I was waiting on someone to post, I guess it is me.  I'll try to get out a post a bit later.

Also, I was going to modify the Scarred Undeads position, but now that both Rath and Sigismund are attacking it I guess it doesn't really matter.

I feel that I mishandled that Hero Point Rath and you are only about 5' further than if you hadn't used it.  I'll give you the option of taking it back and keeping everything else as is.  I'm still not entirely sure about the 5' step and move, since rounds are a relative thing.  A round starts at the beginning of your turn and ends just before the beginning of your next turn.

Re: Rath's Initiative?
I'm not worried about the hero point. I moved away without receiving an attack of opportunity, and that's what I was going for. If you want to give the point back to me, I won't turn it down. But, really, I made the decision to use it, so I can live with the results.

My next action is contingent on Sigismund's, so I'm waiting to post.

Re: OOC Board
Just switched to a new job today so not much time to check in from work like I used to.  I'll catch up and post an update tonight.

Re: OOC Board
Sorry, again.  Having difficulty finding time to post.  I'm hoping once I get a hang of my new job I'll get into a posting pattern.  The biggest problem is, I like my new place of employment much more than my old place so am finding myself with much less down time during the day :D

Re: OOC Board
Was going to post but it seems I have some data I left at home that I'll need, regarding Umfreys search.  I'll finish posting tonight.

Re: OOC Board
Boy, how times flies.  Another problem right now is I'm doing a lot of coding at work, building some pipeline tools, and my Python is a bit rusty.  Once I start actually getting into production I should have more time on my hands, ironically.

I do visual effects and there is a fair bit of waiting involved sometimes.

So what is the plan, in game?

I imagine we'll want to check out the ruins, to see why Mik wanted us to come here. But I don't think Rath should suggest it ... .

Re: OOC Board
Sorry for the delay.  Part of me was hoping Sigismund would chime in, the other part is still having trouble finding time to post.

I have a new laptop on order, I'm really hoping this is going to improve my posting rate, it'll be here by the end of the week.

Re: OOC Board
A short notice from Sigismund: his player will leave the game. Not because he dislikes the story or the fellow players (or the GM), but because he has so much other things on his mind in RL that he hasn't got the time to check, much less post, here.

Okay, thanks.  I'm finally getting to where I am ready to start ramping up on posting.  Still a bit busy today but will start moving things along again tomorrow.

Re: OOC Board
Sorry again for my delays.  I was at a bit of a loss for a bit on which way to continue.  Getting back on track now but too tired to post tonight... Busy and long day at work.  I've got my other game pretty much back on track, now I should be able to do the same for this one.

Hrm... guess my post got lost somehow.
I probably closed the window while in preview... hate it when I do that :(

Sorry again for delays, I just had a bit of a Family crisis come up... again.  I should be back in the swing of things by the end of the week.
