All done! Your CP have been spent, so I am now going to officially close the threads and assign XP, then open the two new IC threads. Stay tuned!

Re: OOC Thread

To clarify: Geoff and Ed are on The Straight And Narrow Path, everyone else is looking for the wrong zombies.

Also: all character sheets should now be up to date. Please check that I gave you what I was supposed to give you, and that I did the math correctly.

Timeout for me, if you please... I was under the impression that Ed was in the car with Geoff?

If it would help to avoid confusion, you could always edit his name in the cast list to drop Edgar. Everyone calls him Allan. Edgar was his dad.

Re: OOC Thread

Changing an existing character's name messes up the private lines: they are checked against the character's current name. I am not sure what else it breaks, but I suspect there's more.

Re: OOC Thread

Yeah, I had forgotten about that. I'd loose access to the old Private Messages, too. But I've had GMs do it in other games One even did it without warning. If I know ahead of time, I can save any notes I need.

You know I never really picked a religion for Karen, but given she's Brazilian, it's not hard to imagine her being a catholic, if only barely.

Re: OOC Thread

The driving order was Geoff/Nephi/Allan, and then Eddie arrived, which means in order to run the zombie leader over Karen will have to pass by pretty much everyone, and move around the large Unicat.

This should be more or less where vehicles and characters are:

--------------------------------------------------------------

                          UNICAT
                          UNICAT NEPHI
                       E J NEPHI Z
              EDDIE MH N
  L EDDIE

--------------------------------------------------------------

L is the zombie leader, Z is a generic zombie.

Not quite to scale but it should give you an idea. Am I forgetting anyone? Does this look off to you?

Thanks, that helps, didn't know where exactly the leader was in reference. Either way still blowing the horn in hopes of warning the others.

Re: OOC Thread

Sorry I have been more or less absent for a while... ATM, we have a zombie leader waiting on Hector's reply and Xynthia waiting on Allan's reply, but I will move the game forward in a day or two if they have nothing to say. Life is particularly hectic at the time, I shall try to be a bit more active in April...

Re: OOC Thread

08:44, Today: Nephi Swanson rolled 23 using the Unisystem system (1d10+12) with rolls of 10, 6. Simple Fear test.

I don't have anything to say IC, so I'm posting the Fear test here.  Still waiting to react to Karen, or to what I may have noticed from the Notice Test.

To clarify: all those in "These aren't the Zombies..." who have *an asterisk in their Attributes* MUST roll a Fear test before they can take any action.

Re: OOC Thread

Alright everyone... Hector's apparently gone insane.

Monica has Martial Arts training AND Situational Awareness AND Fast Reaction Time, so she gets a PER + Notice roll at +2 to figure out Hector's intentions (9 or better required).

If she passes the Test, she gets to dodge with a Simple Dex Test. If she doesn't pass the Test, she still gets a Dodge but with DEX + Dodge and a -3 penalty.

Hector grabs her with a Simple DEX Test, so it's a Resisted Roll.

On a completely unrelated note... I am considering changing the rules for Drama Points, specifically extending the +10 bonus to all actions taken during the Turn the point is spent (however, the maximum number of non-defensive actions would then be limited to the character's DEX -3, to a minimum of 1). Opinions?

Just so you know: NPCs get Drama Points too...

In reply to Chronicler (msg #537):

Whoa whoa whoa, I thought she had slumped over, passed out. Isn't that what you wrote? Me getting her out of harms way makes perfect sense in that context. Is that not what happened?

Re: OOC Thread

Not totally sure what I want Nephi doing this round.  Ah well, I'll figure something out.  And here's the Feat test roll: Nephi Swanson rolled 16 using the Unisystem system (1d10+10) with rolls of 6. Simple Fear Test.
