Gold

(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

After looking at Angel's character sheet on character builder and doing some calculations, I discovered I had not updated her since level 2 gear-wise. But I did her correctly at lvl 2. So it's all good because the math will add up. Anyway, figured I'd give a list of TOTAL gold at each level for everyone's convenience.

Magic Item Cost-Increase scale:
Levels	| Extra amount added	|
	| since last level	|
--------|-----------------------|
01-05	| 160 |
06-10	| 800 |
11-15	| 4,000 |
16-20	| 20,000 |
21-25	| 100,000 |
26-30	| 500,000 |
31-35	| 2,500,000 |

Obvious rate of adding x5 every half tier. 160x5=800, 800x5=4,000. So on.
(Note: These are the amount added PER level. So a level 1 item is 360. Then you add 160 for a level 2 item for a total of 520 for a level 2 item. Then you add 160 for a level 3 item for a total of 680 for a level 3 item. So on. At level 6, the amount changes from 160 to 800. So a level 5 item is 1,000 and a level 6 item is 1,800.)
Beginning price (Level 1 items): 360 gp
Highest Price (Level 30 items): 3,125,000 gp
Level 31 item: 5,625,000 gp

TOTAL
(If you sold everything you own and add the gold you own, you should have this much)
Level ##: Original (x1.5 Value: aka new house-ruled way)
Level 01: 100 (N/A)
Level 02: 1,920 (2,880)
Level 03: 2,560 (3,840)
Level 04: 3,200 (4,800)
Level 05: 4,480 (6,720)
Level 06: 6,400 (9,600)
Level 07: 9,600 (14,400)
Level 08: 12,800 (19,200)
Level 09: 16,000 (24,000)
Level 10: 22,400 (33,600)
--------------------------------
Level 11: 32,000 (48,000)
Level 12: 48,000 (72,000)
Level 13: 64,000 (96,000)
Level 14: 80,000 (120,000)
Level 15: 112,000 (168,000)
Level 16: 160,000 (240,000)
Level 17: 240,000 (360,000)
Level 18: 320,000 (480,000)
Level 19: 400,000 (600,000)
Level 20: 560,000 (840,000)
--------------------------------
Level 21: 800,000 (1,200,000)
Level 22: 1,200,000 (1,800,000)
Level 23: 1,600,000 (2,400,000)
Level 24: 2,000,000 (3,000,000)
Level 25: 2,800,000 (4,200,000)
Level 26: 4,000,000 (6,000,000)
Level 27: 6,000,000 (9,000,000)
Level 28: 8,000,000 (12,000,000)
Level 29: 10,000,000 (15,000,000)
Level 30: 14,000,000 (21,000,000)

ADDING!
So that you don't have to sell everything you own to figure out how much more to get, this is how much gold you get when you reach a new level. This is not in addition to the total amount. For instance, Angel had 1920 gold worth of stuff at level 2. So when she got level 3, she could add 640 gp for a TOTAL of 2560 (1920 + 640 = 2560).

I have put up the amount you gain per level as well as the amount you would gain based off the x1.5 rule. So for example, Angel levels up from level 2 to level 3. She SHOULD actually have 2,880 gold worth of stuff (instead of the 1,920 listed in the previous paragraph). So when she gains level 3, she simply adds 960 to her gold (2880 + 960 = 3840). If you have questions, let me (Tim) know.
Level UP: Original (house ruled extra amount)
Level 02: 1,820 (2,780)
Level 03: 640 (960)
Level 04: 640 (960)
Level 05: 1,280 (1,920)
Level 06: 1,920 (2,880)
Level 07: 3,200 (4,800)
Level 08: 3,200 (4,800)
Level 09: 3,200 (4,800)
Level 10: 6,400 (9,600)
--------------------------
Level 11: 9,600 (14,400)
Level 12: 16,000 (24,000)
Level 13: 16,000 (24,000)

Level 15: 32,000 (48,000)
Level 16: 48,000 (72,000)
Level 17: 80,000 (120,000)
Level 18: 80,000 (120,000)
Level 19: 80,000 (120,000)

Re: Gold

Just note the total value of your purchased gear on your sheet somewhere so you don't have to figure the individual value of every item each time you level up.  Though, that's something that doesn't come with the clipboard text Mc useless version.

Total Gold Value Per Level:

Lv #:  Original (x1.5 Value)

Lv 1:  100
Lv 2:  1,920 (2,880) Edited.
Lv 3:  2,560 (3,840)
Lv 4:  3,200 (4,800)   [I'm not sure how I ended up with 4,815 before]
Lv 5:  4,480 (6,720)
Lv 6:  6,400 (9,600)
Lv 7:  9,600 (14,400)
Lv 8:  12,800 (19,200)
Lv 9:  16,000 (24,000)
Lv 10: 22,400 (33,600)
Lv 11: 32,000 (48,000)

Re: Gold

Tim forgot the 1.5x gold thing.  You and Elric need not change anything.

Putting this here for reference:

Testing the new colors! Yay upgraded RPOL! And it was only down for 1 hour. XD And they have GRAY!! I've been waiting for that!

(Including old colors for comparison)
Normal (Black or white, depending on RPOL theme) Gray
Red Royal Red Rose Coral
Orange Goldenrod
Aqua Seagreen
Blue
Dark Blue
Green Seagreen
Dark Green
Brown Royal Red
Purple Lavender
Yellow Goldenrod
Pink
Royal Red
Coral
Goldenrod
Seagreen
Periwinkle
Lavender
Rose
Gray

.......looks like the colors don't work. I guess that's going to be some later update? Anyway, we'll see.

Posted on the RPOL Technical Discussions thread and got my solution!

Timothius:
I wasn't sure where to look for or post on this topic, but I've noticed RPOL had added new colors to the font! I was very excited to try them, but oddly they aren't working.

Royalred as an example. The old colors still work fine, though. :)

cruinne:
Your browser has likely cached the old version of the CSS.  Try forcing a refresh -- which might be, depending on your browser and OS:
  • shift + refresh/reload button
  • shift + F5
  • control + F5
  • control + refresh/reload button

And this worked. XD I love the new colors!

Mobian Tales Chapter 01: Introductions tim's turn

--- Eli says, "Got it, Jake, thanks! Now I know which ship has Katy, but that still leaves figuring out where the other kidnapees were taken." He immediately sends the coordinates to Mittens, since she was already done setting up a Rikti bomb.  Emerald says, "On it!" She heads for the ship Eli gave directions to while invisible, draws a few arcane sigils on the side of the ship, and then teleports away. Emerald enjoys free-falling for a little while she comms, "Gale, any luck on how you're going to get magical tracers on the rest of the ships?"  Suddenly, the little fox pops into existence next to Mittens. She grins and wiggles her fingers in a wave at Mittens before placing a hand on the Rikti bomb and concentrating.  Katy, meanwhile, can be heard panting over the comms, "...man... I love my power... Well, everyone, I survived the welcoming party and found a hiding spot. My danger is no longer immediate."  Shelly squeaks, "So are we forming two different teams?"
Eli answers, "For all we know, the Rikti have already scattered the kidnapped across all their ships by now. We won't know how many rescue teams are needed until we figure out which ship has them. But my spy flies are buying time for when Gale puts magic tracers on them. Which will buy time for us to infiltrate later."
Katy comms, "So I'll be scouting the ship I'm in to see if they are here. And don't worry, I'll be careful."
- "We're probably going to need some of the more patient sorts on civilian rescue."  Bystanders run around in random zigzags enough as it is, so... Special needs students are not going to make for a smooth rescue.  "Reminder that Rikti drones generally penetrate stealth and invisibility tricks.  So trying to just run past too many things could end up rather messy once you have to stop."
--- Test run for hypothetical public superhero game. tim's turn
--- The Big News tim's turn
--- Yes, punching first (and probably second, as well) would look particularly bad in these circumstances. "So, what's your name?"
- The big lug looks at Hakkof. "Name... Jarth." he says with a goofy grin as if proud that he knows his name. Then looks back to Kevin.  "Balloon... hard?" he says amazed before crushing (and popping) the balloon. His expression melts to sorrow. *sniff* "Jarth harder than balloon..." he says with a shaky voice as if he wants to cry.

Emerald says, "I wish all I would have to do is tell you not to worry about it, but feelings don't just go away. Is there anything I could say that would settle your fears?"
-You could tell him you have access to the Script-wait, no, that would make things worse.  "I both appreciate your concern for my well being, and wish you'd get over me almost dying for the zillionth time before you have a breakdown-that was so worse than my usual questionable wording.  That said, you do have a strong point about things being especially bull **** of late.  But we're at least talking controlled conditions here, rather than spur of the moment."
---  Matt has tried to avoid outright calling Mittens crazy, but that's more because his barely functioning tact couldn't make it sound good like Ikia can.  "I'm just going to assume there were many 'desktop computer' jokes at their expense."
- Ikia lip-sinks "cud-dle-li-cious..." to herself, as if trying to figure out the word. "Uh... thank you?"  The tale of "sticking it to the man" (get it?) has Ikia chuckling. "Some day, we must share tales... but I worry my stories would bore you since I do not have a mischievous streak."  Many a tale of her and Matt doing many a straight-laced thing. Very exciting. Of course, Ikia IS a Jedi... there is bound to be excitement in there she takes for granted as "just doing her job"
--- "A real professional doesn't need to be reminded not to disintegrate the bounty, and all that."  Though it can be grimly satisfying to frequently remind someone you don't get paid if they are dead, while clearly not going out of your way to avoid that.
- Serenity says, "Pretty much any bad thing you can think of. But the reason he has a bounty is mostly because he made the mistake of ripping a lot of money from someone highly influential. Because in the end, nobody cares about justice unless there is money involved."
--- Well, Archer seems to have the purple prose down (nevermind that it's green).  So decides to let them field actually grabbing the key, if it remains awkwardly silent.
- The key answers, "I am the Key of Ao. I lock or unlock godhood."
June gives a disbelieving frown.

---------------------

Coming full circle is generally more appreciated when icecream is involved.  "Yeah, thanks for the snacks.  I'll admit I'm more used to problems that don't involve enough time to file paperwork about it."
- Maverick is just quietly licking his ice cream, but also smiles at Angel and says, "Thanks, Angel." Angel says, "You're welcome." to the bunch of thankful people. "That whole ordeal was actually good for Mobian/Overlander relations. While the details won't go into the news, Sally plans on sharing with the media that overlanders worked together with mobians to bring something to light that will be of great importance to the Kingdom of Mobotropolis. For reasons of national security, none of our names will be mentioned. But trust me, that is best."
--- Aiu fills Dave in on the situation while Y'naro goes to check the infiltrators for cyanide or whatever suicidal things in their mouths, nose, etc. When he gets to Angel, he wakes her and fills her in on what's going on so far.
- Rise from your grave-wait you weren't dead Dave.  "I'm glad to see my uncharacteristic impulsiveness had practical results..."  Spite can work out like that.  Angel is lucky Dave has a soft spot for legitimate due process.  Is the only PC not sympathizing with the space pirate.  Is the first one to hurt himself saving her. Of course!
--- Hakkof expects this latest balloon to meet it's demise at Jarth inadvertently flexing his biceps.  He refrains from commenting about this, though.  Even if he's ready to offer space tissues in case of huge manchild tears.
- Jarth gives that goofy grin of his as he sees the balloon fit over his arm and not pop. "Jarth happy..."  A yawning Nivi comes walking out to where the others are. "What's going on, guys?"
