Floor B23 - South Sector 5, Operation Earthcalm

B23 South Central Platform is housed in the local Peace Force Department building in Pasiap's Resolve, Sector 5. Rather fittingly, it also opens up into the widest street of the sector: the Fifth Radial, one of the spokes on the city 'wheel' so to speak. The Peace Force is no shadow organization: when they move out, they do so with their colors flying, their armor shining.

They are, after all, on the right side of the law.

As is expected, Winglord Jedevra wastes no time. As soon as the first scale steps out post-transport, she orders her force to march, the latter scales already given direction to form up and follow suit as they appear. Such maneuvers have been trained incessantly into the soldiers long before this moment, right down to seconds of granularity, syncing every marched step, turn and arm motion, even the angle their shields and shock pikes are held. The end result is the perfect column of red-armored and black-visored soldiers tromping down the center of the Radial, a single, fluid entity pouring from the open gates of the Department with two hundred heads and eight hundred limbs and magitech spearheads for bristles.

At the head of the column marches the Winglord herself, resplendent in her custom red jade dragon armor and phoenix pinions, a veritable goddess of war. And beside her walks Kilani Sorune, a young, reluctant archer, a girl with dreams of the sky. A Collared Anathema, and Jedevra's pretty brown-haired pet.

"The Peace Force is coming! The Peace Force is coming!" People are shouting it all throughout the streets of South Sector. The streets clear quickly for their passing. Doors lock and shut, but for the few daring spectators, and even more daring naysayers that shout epithets at the passing soldiers. Now and then, someone throws a crumbling brick, or some ruined piece of factory slag. But for now, such foolish actions are at a minimum, and the formation does not break.

As the soldiers of Burning Feather come closer to the zone of operation, Kilani can see several plumes of smoke rising from the city blocks ahead. [Private to Kilani Sorune: btw, I ended up changing Stone Street to Granite Street. no reason, just a cosmetic difference. :)]

[Private to Saina Nanaret; Yaishin Higura; Talia Zerith; Ledaal Xurizu: you can assume you can start hearing some of this commotion from the outside, though you're still inside the Freerunner safehouse.]
