  The  group, Plus Brother Plaous, make their  way up the    street know by them, by now, That would lead  them towards the GAtes.

  For the regular people of the City. Merc  groups, were  ..Though some of the younger folks, with  adventure in thier hears could tell some of the   Company markings.

 Two  Holy Warriors  of  The Alpower, proud in their  Armor  and symbol, were  walking towards the Gate  , as  Justin and  his group were coming off the Bridge.

Myranda eyed the Alpower Holy Warriors skeptically, she assumed they were showing off their armour trying to be either intimidating or impress the locals. Neither she thought much of.

  entering the  bar, the warmth hit them,  making them realize  it was  a bit cooler near the river, then they may have thought.  A pair of Bard  were   singing   down the northeast corner.. where   they  could  see out  of  the Large  window  nad  watch ships,  and  see 'The Mound'  and the Palace across the glittering  river, as the sister moons   played in the night sky.

 the  Bards stopped playing and people Looked  around..they Elves    stepped  a bit  ahead, followed  my a  woman in Robes.. and a woman  who looked as thought she could sue  a robe, behind the ladies  wither a Human  woman and    a  Bright plated warrior.. and behind  them  a Rather   large  body of  Orlin  and    Stardancer.

  From the north west Corner  sittign b y a large Table  was  a  Dwarf who had one horn on the  fron of his helmet.. and  yelled.....Ye  Git them  Big  folks over here, so's they  don't  take  up all the room fer  customers!..

    Coming  around the   Table the bright haired   Dwarf  went Up and  Hugged Kree fiercely  ,  then Ivy... Ivy  'commplaining' about  his ribs  getting cracked.

Merchant's Landing.... The Plains Elevs Grotto...  Tracewood landing  and Voll... We do not  have to send things over land through Tou any longer.... the  Furman's chain can send  thing  across the river  now  and take  it through The Timber, and use The Lather River to  say to the ports  i mentioned, and...transpost to Ironmound..Caravans  can now   travel through the Trace and  follow a trade road   down to the   Plains elves Grotto.. then  can sail from there to Merchant landing to trade there... and  we can trade with them.

 the others  who had not been there  before   saw  a massive Mirror  behind the bar  that help reflect the lights... and  nest to it, close to Reedrick's   table, was  a lareg  square  Board..on the board were many , patches... pins arm band  and  rings taken from  merc companies that had opposed   any   Crimson arrow  group.

 three   women  came over, all had  little  arrow s dangling  from  chains    on thier necks, nestling in thier cleavage . One  smiled  at Kree  and set a Glass of  Elven Gold  before him, Ivy tried to take it  but she slapped his hand  away.

 he oepned  a  cloth up..there  were a few armbands, a few pins.. and the  Tou Captain's   rank badge, as well as the other  two rider's Tou  Pins.. she    smiled  and  went to the board to place them on.

 he    handed over his charter  for   Reedrick's  to  update it.....Justin and Myra  had thiungs  to do.... and we signed a few folks along the  way..a few died.. some ran off..you know how it goes..

 Reedrick's  furry  eyebrows   rose , then furrowed,well..if it were easy bein'  an Arrow..everyone  would be an Arrow!

Envlo turned to Krywn, responding to him as they entered the bar. "It's the least I can do. I believe that we are all tied together in some way, deeply reliant on one another even more than we know. Hopefully my eager offerings are enough to help them perservere through their hardships.  We all have our part to play, I'm just doing my share."

Envlo walks to Reedrick's table, following the elves and sitting down.  He looked behind the counter at the board, symbols of past battles won, lives taken. Envlo began to second guess himself, wondering if he was cut out for this, but he simply took a deep breath and kept his thoughts to himself, trusting that this was the path that he was meant to travel on, lead here for a reason.  Putting his doubts aside he smiles warmly at the dwarf at the table. "My name is Envlo Lifespring, it's a pleasure to meet you, Reedrick."

  The Dwarf  smiled  and waved to the  stew,bread  and meats..eat and  Drink, tree hunger...but..afore ye do?..ye not one of them druids  from Ironwood..are ye?

 Kree  ladelsed  some stew into a Bowl  and  Cut  a  slice of  bread, before  passing the   pot  around.

Envlo raised ane eyebrow with curiousity. "Well, I am a Druid, but I don't hail from from any Ironwood.  Why do you ask? Druids don't have a bad reputation in these parts, do they?"

Envlo waited for the dwarve's reply before he took anything to eat, not wanting to overstep any boundaries and eager to find out why Reedrick brought it up.

 Elandra felt the warmth hit her, she had her staff in her hands as she walked in. Elandra follows Kree and Ivy to the table and the Dwarf. She walks with Tyri and takes a seat with the others. Elandra then took her turn and said," Good day Reedick. I am Elandra Jalvain, Cleric/Priestess of Amot , may Peace be with you always."

  The  Dwarf  gave a  'humrpf',..Agter   iron Mound built its  fancy walls.. They   needed a Navy ta keep the  pirates and salvers    from  taken over the River.. An' build they did... they 'ave  sea goign vessels at Mouri and Engar, and  the   big warships  in ironmound  can  run the coasts as good  as  any  ships... Mouri and Engar  have thier own navies, so's they help  keep pirates  at bay..'specially them   Damned  Red Isle  Halflings.

 ..now..ta make them ships  and boays..ye need   wood... Oak...some spruce is good... but  nothin' beats the Black Oak  an Ironwood..now , at the time  o' the civil war.. Tou  , the Ironwood  elves  an'  the dwarves of the Mound banded   together to Tight   The tracewood  Elves  an' the  Black Timber  elves... the reason?.. Caus e they wouldn't let  lay of them   ship buildin' tree  be  cut..unless  the Druids  marked them....so?  they  might get to  build one  big ship a year.. or   2 or three smaller ships from  them folks... while the ironwood  bathed in Gold  fro sellin' any Ironwood  , the Emperor  wanted...Thier Druids  turned on Nature  , they did..an' that's a Son Of Stone sayin'...

 Kree talked around a mouth  full of buttered bread, he had  dipped in his stew...Trok  took a chance and  sided with  Tracewood... The High peak  dwarves  came  down to  stand  by   Us...and the   Huamns  and other  folk who live on the Furman's chain..sided  with us   as  well..we  won.... when Gargen  chose  this time to invade over the Mountain... The Black Timber  archers    cut   down many of the invaders who  recurited  orcs, catfolk and  the  like... we even had some goblins aid us...after the  first  battle.. our Rangers  and the Dwarven hunters  cleaned the mountains.. while  Tropk troops  and trace elves   cleane dout  bases  the  enemy had  made on the  Storm, by coming  down the Widow River

 Ivy   at some  beef  and   fruit,..so? The reason Reedrick asks, is because a druid  from  the  Ironwood  Forest..cannot be trusted.

  Reedrick nodded to Elandra,...mabbee ye can share  some clothes  with yer  friend?... we don't  have Ladies  sellin' themselves here... you bed  anyone under this  roof,, its  because the  urge took you and they agreed..

Tyri smiled warmly at the dwarf. "I am Tyri of the Shadowhand gypsies," she gave a deep curtsie before taking her own seat. "And I don't sell myself thanks but absolutely agree with your philosophy. I do dance." With a laugh, Tyri waited for her turn to dish herself up something to eat. After doing so, she looked over to check out the bards.

Envlo listened intently to the tale that Reedrick and Kree told, nodding his head solemnly.  "Well, it certainly sounds like you have your fair share of troubles over here.  I've already had a run-in with some pirates myself, and they're definitely not the most pleasant company, to say the least.  I understand completely if you're suspicious of me because of the misdeeds of other druids, but I assure you that I'm not like those from Ironwood, that I am sincerely looking to join this group on your travels and assist in any way I can."

He then serves himself some food, sampling small portions of the meats along with some of the stew and bread.

  Reedrick  have a snort, but a kindly smile  to  Tyri.

 Kree nods to Ivy  who   turns  aroudn behind his  chair     showing   reedrick the Tou Rider's  Blade.

 Three rider's blades..Sword and dagger, with   belts and sheaths.. the Captain's looks like a family Blade, you get word to the Thieves  guild  in Tou you may be able to ransom it... or?..sell it to same  dandy from teh Emperor;s court and  let him spin a tale on how he killed the  captain in a duel or , some such nonsense.

 we had  some cat folk weapons, but   we  truned them all over to  the tracewood for thier armory

 Ivy  puts  a  Purse on the table27 gold  and  2 Plats from the three who died

 Reedrick frowned  and held out his hand..

 Ivy  signed  and  added  10 more  gold.

 not often we get Plats.... take the  30 gold and split them amoung ye.. I'll add the plats to the coffers.

 Ivy stood  up  and handed  3 gold  to each one of them...Reedrick's right.. Silvers   fall  from purses  more the gold or Plats..even Envio recieved  3.

   once   folks  settled  down, some  knew who the  new arrivals were, some didn;t...The  Bards began to play again.

  The Older one, was a  male, . perhaps  40 summers  old, he was playing a lute, while a woman, perhaps  pushing  20 summers, sang  a song  about sailors   and   Thieves..how  each could  steal a haeart and  leave one poorer for the taking

 the  sound..or perhaps  the  'feel'  of a  troops of  IronMound Watch came closer and closer to the   Inn.. they stopped outside, the Door opened  a  SGT in his  early 2os  and  LY who was  near  40 or so   entered..once more the   sounds  stopped  as the people turned to see the entry.

  The Lt smiled  and  waved them all   to continue..and the bard  started up again as the  two Troopers moved  straight  towards the gathered group.

  There was a show of Kree   swallowing his food  and taking a  drink of his Elven Gold.. once he did  and  moved  his  lips a round a bit, he said,..The heart of Laynak?... and you wonder  my myself and my friends come here..... This?  is my Home when not in The Timber?... Ny Brother by Heart and Blade is here... and?.. I have to see the Emperor  tomorrow  , as i made a promise.

Ironmound regulars  worry  about what happens outside the walls...aye?... And When a Merc  company has some altercation..in  does not invove  the CITY..watch..when it is  OUTSIDE  the walls.... aye?

 The SGT  smiled a bit.. and the LT   leaned on the table...give me  a reason to drag you to the arena... I will gladly do it..

 kree nodded  as few  times  as he  scooped up another   spoonful of  stew,Until then?... You best be  watching our  fair  city...wouldn't  want some evil bastard tossing a fishbone on the  docks  or some ...evil..action like that...

 did you not see that  thin little mustache ..looks  like   some one drew it one with charcoal?  If he is not a Full Blood Tou, he wants to act like one.. City watch takes   any one , any more.

Tyri looked up at the Sergeant and Lieutenant, once again observing the interactions with him and the cousins. It was interesting…and Ivy definitely seemed to provoke Kree more than the other way around. There was something about both that intrigued her but again, neither seemed too interested. With a small shrug, she went about eating though almost choked as she laughed at Kree’s comment about the guy’s mustache. “So what can I expect when we go to Pleasure Street aside from pleasure?” She smirked, very curious about what it held for her.

  Ivy looks around, he points to the   southwest corner of the  bar,what out that way, near the orc section, is the Red Blades  Thieves  Guild.. they have some merchants who work with them..pay some of the city guard.. and make deals with some merc groups.... They..Don't like the Golden Horn

  Pointing  to the  window  and across the wide river, he says,..down that way..is the Golden Horn..nestled   on the street of Pleasures.. we have whores, beggars the odd  assassin  or two  working  with us... The arrows  are one of the few merc Groups  who are allied to them... Most merc  Groups stay neutral  but..well that is not our  way..

 Reedrick breaks  a bit of   chicken off the bone  and   pops it in his mouth,..folks think that whores an' beggars  ain't good enough to team up with..But  The Golden Horn  knew what it was about.. and lots of our enemies wake up dead, when they fall asleep in the arms of a willful woman  or fellla.

 Ivy  swallows  some  ale,it is busy there.. and people die.. some streets  in ironmound only need  a trip from the orc  cart once  a day?.., The Street of pleasure has  2 stationed there.

"Sounds rather...quaint," she chuckled as she ate. "I suppose I could understand the treatment...many have low opinions of the gypsies...much like everyone here that I have encountered who think we are nothing but whores and crooks." She took a deep drink from her mug, setting it down carefully before continuing. "We actually have a lot of...spirituality in our ways...a higher power that we follow...but these are all things many don't see. Many just make assumptions on what they think is going on." Even among the arrows, they all had assumed they understood who Tyri was and passed judegment.

  Kree   smiled slightly with a   shrug as he refilled his glass with Elven Gold...it is your outward appearance.. Ivy and  I  are looked on  as woodland warriors..and the truth is there, to be sure, But we are also  skilled in the alleys,Ivy more then myself. Lucy, when seen from afar, is Cat folk? Only on close inspection will one see her  ears  and eyes  have  elven blood to them.  Gypsies have thier reputation, just as elves , or catfolk or dwarves, One cannot blame others for looking  at the  color of a fruit and  calling it by the  wrong name?... If Elandra dress as you, and you dressed as her.. the perceptions would still be there...it  would take closer inspection, for  folk to see  Her uncomfort in her  dress..and your struggle to remain contemplative . 

 There is a bit of a smile   as he eats  as  Ivy adds,..this is not a bad thing, when one  plays the  perceptions, against those  who you wish to work against.

 Elandra ate, watched and listened, to Kree, and Ivy when the Guards came over. Shr thought there might be a fight but they left instead. When perceptions where brought up she smiled and said," Well yes that is very true, like Amot preaches never judge a book by it's cover but buy what is inside, I try to do that at all times." She still cant keep her eyes off of Tyri as she smiles at the beautiful half elf.

Envlo ate quietly, trying to read the room, finding it difficult to gauge the mood. Every interaction that he saw Kree and Ivy engage in seemed to feature quips and smirks amongst more serious, grim topics. He supposed that it must be necessary to have a sense of humour in places like this, rather than surrendering oneself entirely to despair.

His focus returned to his group at the table as the LT and SGT left, hearing out the others before chiming in. "Well, I understand why people jump to conclusions the way that they do, especially in cities like this where death and danger seem to be rampant.  However, I agree with Elandra that there is much to be gained from knowing others on a deeper level before casting judgement. One can be forgiven for calling a fruit the wrong name, but by avoiding every red fruit because one is poisonous one may end up starving themself."

  as the Group eats and Chats, Reedrick  wipes his  hands  on a bar towel he is using as a Napkin. So? You have anything in mind,  You need to gear up?

 we weill be  staying this night for certain, maybe tomorrow night as well, I shall see  after I present myself to the  Emperor. Do You have  anything for us?
