Re:  HEADING OUT...SEEING A BIT OF  IRONMOUND>

The  elf  nods  as they close in on the Town, the  darkness growing  as  the sun is  swallowed  by the  Black Timber,..I will mention it..indeed. I must assume  though, that the Riders  came  by this station..unless they  rode directly  through the  hill and grasses to save time...but..they met us on the road...it is hard to tell...That Young offiver  was not known to me..so i know little of his tactics...but  we will..indeed, mention it..perhaps  they will alert the Ferry Master so they might be put on alert..

as he  says this  he looks Northward. the ferry is  lit up as well, some two miles  away, but  a bright spot int eh growing darkness.

Re:  HEADING OUT...SEEING A BIT OF  IRONMOUND>

reaching  the Gates, the guards  eyes them  with  professional interest. When Kree steps into the  brighter lights  by the gates, he reaches into his tunic  for his cpoy of the charter, the  Guards  shakes his  head,  Enter Good elf, we know your  ensignia...

The  elf nods,   Rider spoke   of  pirates  on this  side of  the river, some way  to the  west of the ferry?"

The guiards look at each other  the leader shrugs,   no riders came here..they must have moved strightaway to the City...Have  a good  evenng in Bowshot....

Wth a  wave of his hand to the others, Kree moves  through the gates,  Thionk on what you might need to fight the Cat folk..this  is the last town, we will be in, unless we travel  further southward and  follow the Tou River..to the Town of  Tou...

Perchance securing somethings which employ scent to aid tracking, What thinkest Thee a guard ferret/dog or three. Mayhap such acquisitions be of aid during each nightwatch.

[We goud look at getting a dogs to help track the Kitties. They could also help during the night watch]

Looking  towards  the south of  the  town he  points,  The Market place is there...I am not  sure what the chances  of such  creatures  could be had, but one never knows what the latest Caravan  brings in...if you wouldlike  , we can take alook before trying to find a room, there is only  a Few Inns in this town.

"I know of nothing else I need to hunt catfolk.  A dog or two might be of aid, if they are trained well."  Rolf leaves it unsaid that he would have doubts as to the training of any dog he did not train himself.

Rolf looks at Justin for a long moment, puzzling out the mans words though he puts a stoic face on it.  "When I'm of a mind, though it takes a fair bit of time to do the job right."

Rolf shrugs, "I could spend three moons or more at it, and what with care and feeding...  No, given what I know now, I'd say it's not worth taking the time.  I'm a fair tracker, hopefully I can ferret out where the bastards are hiding."  It's unclear if bastard is a reference to pirates, or to catfolk.

Looking at the lamp  Lighters  within the palasides, Kre figures  they have a bit of time before needing to find  an Inn.  They make thier  way to  the MArket place, that is...indeed...busy considering  the time of  night...very few of  the towns  close thier markets  at  night..with travelers  and such coming in, there is always  coin to be made....

Re:  HEADING OUT...SEEING A BIT OF  IRONMOUND>

Justin looks over the mismatch of stalls, plying their wears and criers vying for patronage. Looking for the cord, bear/man traps  trained or trainable trackers/guard dogs or the equivalent.

If found How much for these he asks the stallholder holding up a trap that is in good repair and working order

Merik walks with the others keeping an eye on the passerby's. Not knowing about traps, he listens to the others converse and takes special notes of the sizes of the Cat folk. "Where is the dry good store?" He asks the merchant when he suggests looking there. "Need to keep the food stores up and maybe get a pot, tea and honey."

Kree points  to the Nortyh of the town,  It is  towards the  Northwest corner of the town, we needs go in that direction anyway, unless you folks  feel the need for higher priced places to stay?

The  Merchant frowns as he feels he has missed a sale. Merik does notice, a female  dressed in leathers, seeming to be taken a bit of interest in them. When he looks  to the others  as they speak of the  cats, she has vanished.
