Re: Razorhawk Village, home of The Arrows

Kree    walked  about a   Bug in his hand, now  and then a Maiden  would give him a Hug  or  a Kiss..perhaps a  whisper in his ear  as they moved off.

Ivy and two elfmaids   moved off towards   his cabin.. a wave  to his comrades  as they  did.

There was   sharp clarity in Kree's eyes , even though he  appeared to  be  drinking   quite strongly.

talking  an  offered slice of  warm bread  and  bit of boar, from a woman who   passed the trays around..

Well... How  do you like the Village's welcome?  He said to Niphre  and   Khorvar....Tomorrow.. it will be like any other Village..people back to work.. harvesters going out to collect..farmers to farm Hunters to hunt.. I  am willing to bet,  the   Timber  will be  getting more  Fresh fish as well, once  they  set up the merchant  Village... Lots of Serpents in those waters...

To Krwynn  he calls over,..if you  find  the  haerd task of  being in the Village  too much for you, old friend,  You  may wish to Koin us  as we  leave  after  tomorrow.

.............................

people talk about  the Village..some  slavers  came back to the breech a few days ago , but were slaughtered to the last... they  now  adorn stumps  some 50 yards  from the   tree line..to  remind  anyone who seeks passage  without consent , the price there will be.

When Kree suggests Krwyn to join the group when they leave for their next foray, Krwyn is glad to give him a positive answer: "I've rested here long enough; it is time for action again. I come with you."

The  Night   was  filled with even More  dancing  and Music  after    Kree  left, as if  'the Captain' was  gone  and   all could   let  loose  even more.

The Elder     mingled with the People. Krell   looked to Brood   sipping  from ale  out of a Golden  Tankard shaped Like   a Forest runner.

others   had  Locals   trying to Pull them into  dance  , or  to the tables   to sample home backed goods  and   ales.

Re: Razorhawk Village, home of The Arrows

It was  well into the evening and high moon did Stardancers energy begin to wane.  She ate and fested with many of the villagers.  Finally though it was time to get some sleep.  She did gather a few treats for the morning and a jug of clear water.  With that she made her way back to the small cabin Kree agreed for her to use.  With some help she would make use of the lower level and spend a quiet evening and sleep well.

Orlin himself had finally joined in the festivities, he had even danced with star dancer, leaning  in and whispering in her ear “I’ll have you know amongst my people I’m still considered fairly young .   “Old man” indeed.”  He winks  at her and moves on

As the festivities continued, Jason Penny's horse, Leonidas brought him wearily to town. A full day's ride with too many stops left him no choice but to continue on until he reached safety within the boundaries of the village. It seemed there was dancing, and Jason remembered a time when he danced quite well.

Years of bending his knee to the will of others had cost him that spring in his step, but he could still be fast when he needed to. He needed a place to lay his head and something to quench his thirst.

Re: Razorhawk Village, home of The Arrows

Jason grimaced at the idea of spending any more time not in a bed. Then again, his horse did all the work, and a good stretching of the legs may be exactly what he needed. There were plenty of Arrows he had been associated with who wore nothing but sour faces, and so he put on his happy face and dismounted.

Securing his weapons to his horse's packbags and securing his horse to a post near a trough he entered the square. His first mission was to secure something to drink, then perhaps a fair town girl to take his mind off of suffering.

Taking a short break from the dancing Justin slipped onto a bench between a fellow in dark leathers and a red haired dwarf warrior. Seated to watch the revelers as they continued dancing. Thanking an elfmaid he accepted a tankard of the Blackwood Ale.

Re: Razorhawk Village, home of The Arrows

As Jason and Dain looked  around, they  saw the  Totem   that   stood to the North of the  Village square.. Names  in runes   as well with Number    were  glowing with a fiant  green light.. or black as the night itself.

the wagon that served as the bard's stage  was   full of  performers.. some would tell stories   and Jokes     others   sand or played. the area in front  was  always  attended by  dancing people  .

Rumors of  Mok on fire... of the Dreaded Demon Ship, also a blaze..the  Village   along with Timberhome...about to  build a merchant Landing  at the   South east corner  of the   forest, and start thier own trade..Complete with a   'fleet' of three  ships.

Some of the Older Humans   and Elves who have been around, both  warned, and Laughed , that Tou would be angered  by this. Tou was the  'go-between '  Of Ironmound  and  The Black Timber.. taxing  Elven Goods.. and Buy most things   from the few Merchants who braved the Plains to  reach  The  Black Timber...

That would change... the  ships  could  carry goods to the Plains Elves, then further  down to  the LAnding near The Trace Wood..were thier  brothers and sisters  of the Trace Wood, could give merchants  safe passage   through the Wood  and  Come to Ironmound  from there... and.. Voll would  now be a port of call, all the way to the Sea...where they could bring  fresh Goods..aye? There would be river pirates to content  with..maybe   Mok would try to buy or  build  smaller ships.. but it would be no worse then Bandits  and slavers on the roads  and Merchant paths

The   3 Elders  of  Razorhawk Village..picked out By thier   Robes..  Two Older elevs  seemed  quite Pleased  by  the   news    the Crimosn Arrows  brought in.. they even capered a bit   with the  Young maids... By an Older elf, who still looked to be well in his  prime, sat.. drinks  from a Golden  tankard, his  robes opened  revealing the Green/brown  leathers of  a Black Timber Warden..seemed to  frown, ..perhaps too much.

Strength restoring from food, drink and song, Jason noticed Justin and Dain were not townsfolk. "Either of you know Captain Kree?"

He was straight to business, unfortunately, but there was be plenty of time for storytelling.

"As do I..." With his finger, Jason draws an invisible A and makes a circle around it on the table. A thievy way of implying he is to join the Crimson Arrows.

"What of that glowing totem there? The fallen?"
