Re: Razorhawk Village, home of The Arrows
Horses speaking to each other startled him awake. Jason slept well past the appropriate term for early, and was lucky not to be discovered by any stable hands. Pulling his shirt from off his head he squinted against the morning sunlight.
Even the hay bails were too soft for him, and so he had slept on a dry patch of earth in Leonidas' stall. Though he had stolen the war horse only six months ago, the stallion had accepted him as his new master and kindly didn't trample him, or worse, piss on him.
As Leonidas whinnied in reply to Stardancer Jason caught first glimpse of her, the sun streaking through her blonde hair. Of course, all he saw was the woman part.
He quickly leaped to his feet, his mouth opened to say "Good morning" when he saw the rest and his mouth just hung there opened.
