Re: Razorhawk Village, home of The Arrows

Diana slowly began to wake up.  Her head was already exploding in different degrees of pain.

She moaned, and covered her eyes from the morning sun.  She tried to move, but stopped, her head just hurt too much.

So, she closed her eyes, and willed herself to relax.  Then she slowly opened her eyes again.  The hangover was still very much there, but at least she could move, and get up.

She slowly moved from where she had fallen asleep last night, or was it passed out?  Well, it didn't matter.  She went to find a hangover cure and something to drink.

Non alcoholic for sure.

Re: Razorhawk Village, home of The Arrows

Lucy awoke in a small field.  Beside her were four dead rats and a what looked like a decent size racoon.

~What the hell?~  She thought to herself.

She tried to remember the night before but could only get so far.  She looked around, and realized she was butt naked.

"What the hell happened last night?" She said out loud, like that was going to answer the question.

She found her clothing a short ways away, and quickly got dressed.  What didn't realize was that her mouth was smeared with blood.

She headed the short ways back to the village, trying hard to avoid anyone, but, of course, failing badly.

Although she was curious why most of the people she came across were staring at her strangely.

In reply to Lucy (msg # 532):

Myranda spent the night in quiet repose until there was a commotion which broke the otherwise peaceful night. Bow in hand and shaft drawn she moved towards the sound. Pausing she was taken aback by the site that she came across. A mixture of concern then mirth played across her exotic face. Leaving Lucy to the half feline's nightly activities Myranda returned to the place she was a light chuckle bursting forth at the image of what she had witnessed. As the distant calls heralded the approaching dawn Myranda oaid homage to the Sisters, thanking them.for the night and the day to come. Making her way to the bakers hut Myranda greeted each as they stirred and offered to assist them in their pre dawn preparations.

After the breads had been bscked Myranda thanked the Bakers then took her leave, strolling across to the Inn to meet the Arrows and share their morning meal. Spotting Lucy heading in that direction she greeted Lucy, a myschievous grin playing across her face.

Jason stretched and put his shirt on. "Five years of sleeping on the ground, why pay silver for a bed when the earth is free." Jason figured he could trust the centauress with the little secret that he did not pay for the right to stay in the stable.

"You...uh...I've never seen someone like you." He meant it with respect but any rudeness he would blame on having just woke.

Re: Razorhawk Village, home of The Arrows

At the Village square. Kree ate  and Joked with  some of the   villagers..  Carr, the Mute  Boy who lived with the  farmer  and wife, who was   , Kree's  caretakers when he was away sat next to him and Kree  had a  slice of pie  and  some  juice brought  for him.

The   Elder   came  down  to the  Village center,  Krell  Motioned  for  Kree to  follow. With a shake of his ehad , he pointed  at his food  and the  young lad .. None of teh elders  seemed please, the other  two  seemed to understand  as they   sat  at their  High backed chairs  near the Totem,  and  villagers  brought them   food  and drink.

..You will Come...now... Krell hissed between clenched  teeth.

..I am eating  with  my Brothers  and sisters  from the Village..I am trading stories, and will do  so until I am finished.... YOu and the other Elders , do not have   any great  activities , I am sure... and nor   do I , Until we  leave...

..THIS!...is why you will never  be  an Elder!

and  ..THIS...father..is why you will never  be an Arrow....  Krell   truned  and stomped off to his  seat.

the others  at the table looked at Kree,..now?.. Sifton?... you werr about to tel us about that MAid  you met in the forst, at the river....

folks laughed and the story contined

"There are virtually none like me here at all" she said tossing him an apple.  "My name is Stardancer.  What is yours?  You are human, that I can tell, why did you come here?" her tone more of curiosity than of interrogation.

"Jason Penny." He spoke his name with an air of nobility that came and went like the wind, and he returned to his bent posture.

Jason tried to catch the apple but wasn't prepared and it rolled to the wet part of the dirt. He picked it up and was about to offer it to his horse but figured he best wipe it off on his pants first.

"I'm sure you're well acquainted with the Crimson Arrows? I am with the Black Arrows, near Mok, Captain Young has sent me to speak with Captain Kree. Check in on things." This was all true, but the facts were heavily omitted. Young had grown tired of Jason's reluctance, lies and thievery, and figured Kree's brutal leadership would help whip him into better shape.

Justin greeted the Arrows as they came for their morning's meal. When the elders arrived he gave each a greeting nod of respect. Mentally cringing at the interaction that passes between Krell and Kree, as the addage 'You can choose your friends but are stuck with your family' sprang to mind.

Those who knew  Kree  would have noticed  that he was done with   this food. But..ordered   some   berries  with   milk and Honey as  well as  the Kafe  that he added  milk and honey to as well...

Krell frowned  at   his son  deciding to extend his eating  and talkign time  with the others...

a Warden came  down  from the  trees. Going to the  Elders he announced  the caravan from Timber Home was  coming, and  would arrive within the Hour.. 6 wagons of Good  and   30  troops to help guard the Landing...two dozen   workers  and a    some farmers  were comign as well   to help set the  Walls.. a few dwarven folk who settled in teh forest were   something   to  use river stone to make   wall as  well as some  Housing for both the residents of the  new  Village  and solid   places  for the goods   and    food to be stored.

Like wise,  3 wagons from  Razorhawk Village were being loaded. 30   archers    had  volunteered  to go as well  as 20 more   warriors  for various races.. Druids  were goign along to help with   the ahrv3etsing of the River  stone, both to keep serpents away and    fining   trees that  could be used  for the  Docks and  walls

Three  Wolf Handlers also  joined up..they would use thier packs to help scout the area   outside   where the walls  would  be set, to protect against  attacks  from  Cat-folk and such.

"Thank you...uh..." Jason figured it best to follow her suggestion right away and went to Leonidas's rear. He was amazed when Leonidas raised the hoof for him to inspect without needing any coaxing.

"Okay, boy, we'll get the smithy to fix that for you right away." He patted his horse on the rear. It was comforting to know that their relationship was symbiotic.

"I could learn a lot from you." He told Stardancer. "You know Captain Kree then?"

Even if Dain didn't get a great description of Kree, it wouldn't  be hard  to pick him out. 'The Captain' had a   cocky  grin when he  looked towards the Elders.... but a very friendly look to the  commoners   that sat at the long  table  with him, breaking thier  fast is  the   broken sunbeams that were sneaking through the MAssive bought  and branches.

There wasn't even a pretence at subtlety from she cats snub, which was as plain as the claws that protruded from her hands. Turning Myranda strode away from Lucy and towards the table Kree, the Roller Haveslane and several of the Razorhawk Villages shared. Greeting each as Myranda slipped onto the long bench as she enquired if they had a pleasant nights repose.
