"Nay, Justin I believe I can make my way now. The layout of the city seems to be fairly standard. I will back track to the market area and see if I might secure some items." Grimalkin nods to a farewell to Justin and heads back to the market area.

Grimalkin grins to himself as he walks away, noting the Human following him. Thinking to himself, That didn't take long.

Keeping track of the person following him Grimalkin wandered back the way they had originally traveled, stopping abruptly at various places to look at one thing or another. Watching to see if anymore individuals joined his shadow or if they spoke to anyone.

as he  reached   the intersection  where the  MAingate  and Road of  Kings were.. The Beggar's corner  is far across the  way,  but he  can see  one or two watching  both He and..whomever  was following.

When  Grim reached the Bridge, a pair of   men from the farside of the Bridge began to move on an easy pace, that might lead them  to  intersect the new Arrow.

Suddenly out of  Now  were a small dirt faced  urchin popped up reaching his hand out to Grim,...Hi!..Hi!.... I have been waiting sooooo long... can you take  me to the PLank now.. you promised!.. You Promised i could see the sign!

with the Sun starting to  slide  down  its opposite peak..  The Lad took Grim's hand  and smiled happily.

Thw  two fellows  comign from across the Bridge  turned the vector  to Mirror  his path

with out  turning  he wasn't   sure where the first fellow was.

The Kid said in a normal voice..not too loud, not too soft... Its been quiet today.. no one hung drom the Bridges.. no on dangling  off the sides of ships... Must not be too much pirates... now?.

..can we go in?... They say the Plank is one of the few places that have the crushed   Ice ..they put  fruit stuff on...  as he Looks Up at Grim, the  kids   eyes  dart three times  to  Grim's Left side, then turns to  happily walk along side.

As they Near the  end of the Bridge the  Kid waves  at  2  citywatch who are standing  Holding   spears as then smile  and  wave  Back.. this  causes  the  two in the Middle of  the bridge to Belly out a bit more.   Then they turned down  the Street of Wares..

The Kid says  softly,..seems like they wanna  talk with  ya... we have to watch at the end of the street, 'fore  we go  down the hill to the Dock... if they wanna  do something, they'll do it there..

Two More    people, one  a woman, the other  a Man, Both  with the   Blue Patch and  white star, step out.

The  Lad Looks  around.. the Plank is  not that far away... but he knows this  can't be  good.

The woman says, from under her Cloak,..you have seemed to make a poor  choice, in companies....

There Is  a City Orc   sitting By  a BArrel at the Bottom of the 'hill' that ;leads to the wharf... he gets up and starts walking  up the  path...you.... do you need  aid? The Orc  says  as he  walks  up the hill  his  hand grasping the   nasty lookign mace on his belt.

Re: Ironmound...The City

Thinking to himself that this was bound to happen eventually Grimalkin stopped as the two stepped forward. "Ah, what choice would you be referring to lady. I tend to make poor choices at times, as we all do. But I am afraid you may have to enlighten me."

Grimalkins hand rests easy on his weapons as he casually looks at the two. Listening to the noise around him and looking at any shop windows behind the two that may reflect the approach of someone from behind him.

Not entirely sure the Orc was friend or foe, or even the kid for that matter. Grimalkin sttod tensed ready to strike if need be.

The woman  smiled, though he could only see her chin and lips...The  Blue  Sky and the Arrows  are not... friends. They  tend to ruin alot of our side  jobs. We are supposed to  me Mercs...Coin is supposed to  come first... Merc Brotherhood   second.... The Arrows seem to  think Vengeance  is more  important then the rest...

The orc  was Now  at the  Top of the Hill.. He  bore  a crest , crudely  painted on the cheat of his   worn leathers, of a skull with an axe  in it...The Cloven Skull  stands  by the Arrows....

The  woman  just waved the Orc off,..got  pick up  dead bodies.. or Manure  , or whatever it is your  people  do ... You are not  even registered...

The Kid  speaks Up,..they are two.. they are  one of the   two companies  from the Orc section that have  been  chartered

..you better  run along , lad. When this is over, we  may have to take you and see what the Bosses  want to do with a urchin whose  dirty nose stick out too far...

the three mean  who were near Grim  on the street, now blocked the way back to the  Gates...

In reply to Grim (msg # 743):

The grin faded from Grimalkins face, replaced by a cold hard stare. "I had intended to be sociable in or discussion. But since you have decided to lower yourself to making threats against children I see no need to to be pleasant."

His hand gripped his spiked chain plainly showing he was read to fight if need be, "Now why don't you take your lackeys and move along before your poor choices catch up to you. And if I should ever hear of you threatening or harming a child, I will track you down and teach you the meaning of vengeance."

The  Kid looked a little scared, but he didn't  run. The   Orc  Put his   clawed  hand on the Hilt  of  Cutlass that hung from  an hanger on his  Left Hip.

She Looked   up the street at the  Three  had Trailed Grim....... it seems.... we were mistaken to try and reason with You... remember this  talk..... I am sure  we will see you, or other Members of your....'company'..again..

the three in the street waited  for the other  two  to Move  Up Wave St, then they  dispersed as well...

The Orc  snorted,..they think..maybe   5 on one was good... not so good  with 5 on 2...

The  Kid  jerked a  thumb over his   shoulder.. two river watch  gaurds  right over the  hump there.. 2 more  down by the wall....Gonna be careful...so?.. we go to the Plank now?  the kid grinned...

The Lad  Leads them down the  hills to the  wharf, his eyes shift  alot  as he looks for any more of  The Blue Sky.

Grim  can see Fectcher  talking to some  folks way at the north end of the  wharf.

Cassandra looked surprised at the question.  "Why I... I have never been in a temple.  I rather think the Gods, at least when I was a girl, didn't pay attention to me.  Now that I am a little older, I am not sure.  I would not know what to do."

She looked very uncertain, and possibly a little scared.

She pondered for a moment.  "I should see Eta, as I have been watched over a little by that one, but I wear a cloak of Nar. Perhaps Eta first?  Perhaps I can watch you and see what it is I must do."

She was still clearly nervous.

Re: Ironmound...The City

Cassandra listened carefully, hoping they didn't realize how un-church she was.  She also wondered why she needed to go to Neta's church.  She promised herself she would mention that to Myranda when the time came.

When they entered, she looked around with unabashed curiosity, her nervousness momentarily forgotten.
