  the path  then bends   to the  south west..it will eventually take you to the closst brown hex of the swamp.

 If you don't  want to follow the  path, you can try to go through higher grasses, but it  will be slower going.. the choice is up  to you.

hey all
 sorry I've been so silent.

 Went to Vegas Wednesday to Saturday.  Friday was my sister's birthday.
 Anyway, in the rush to leave on time, the dear old lap top got left behind, and neither of us noticed till we were at the airport.  :(
 (slapping forehead)

 Anyway, on the way back home, there was  an hour and a half delay at the airport, then once we got back to San Francisco, there was a delay with the bart.

 Then, to top things off, my bathroom flooded tonight. (sigh)

 So, hopefully tomorrow night the Warriors will whip those over rated bums from Cleveland (hey, they did make it out of the Easy East!) and go up 2-0.

 And, to top things off, I left Vegas -40 in the hole.  (sigh)

 140 is  bad... folks  come away a lot worse!... I don't have the Mental toughness to go to casinos.. I hate  losing...and I hate losing money, even more!!

ON the bright side, I bet on Real Madrid in the Champions League yesterday, and won 20 bucks.  :)

Anyway, had fun.  Friday was my sister's birthday, that's why we went to Vegas.  Left Wednesday and came back Saturday.

  As GM I could have   effectively ..'not did it'. But  the  way he  left is in line with his character  and  class

 On the other hand , we had  two other   players who met with Jesse  at Bowshot, waiting for the ship to arrive.... they met a bad end  as the players bailed  with no intructions, and their RP and BAck round, more or less  sent them to their  deaths.

   concentrate on the players who are  here, and leave OOC stuff out of IC threads...please.

Bummer.

  Knowing  that everyone  has RL going on and all. Sometimes the travel times or  'down times' can be used to  RP with other characters  and NPCs.

okay, what did a forest runner look like?

 Forest Runner.. found in deep   forests and Jungles, or swamp lands...

 the people of  this age, know  very little about creatures, other then what sage told them.

 for us.... the  Forest Runners  a cross between small T-rex and large Raptors... there are many other  'forest Runners.. but these  are the ones  most noted when the name is spoken

looking at the map  Justin's  group can make the 4th hex up form  , where the map says 'or' in storm.

 That will put one hex  between them and  the   swamp hex  jutting towards them
