Ushering the Refugees into Lill's house Justin moves to the table If Thee permit Mistress Lill One shall petition Etna for provisions we cans't all partake of. Mayhap there be sufficient to Enable Thy neighbours to join the celebration of Ereg's return.

Kr'wyn joins the group and greets Lill. "Hello Lill, We promised we would try to bring him back, didn't we? But a loud fest with a bonfire is not in place yet as we don't want to draw any unwanted attention." He turns to Myranda and Justin: "If you sort this out with Lill and the saved slaves, I'll take a position near the river to see if someone is following us. I would like one of the youngsters to accompany me, to serve as my messenger. would it be necessary."

Justin nodded; as Krwyn chose not to partake of the informal gathering there was little he could do to change the Elves thoughts, albeit it was prudent to keep a wary eye out for pursuit. This event would also serve to gather the Patchfolk and permit him to present them with the proposal to help the community. Master Grig if Thee wouldst could you and any you wish to assist inviting the Patchfolk to an impromptu meal and discussion, about their safety and welfare.

Haildas chose not to follow but instead stayed behind with the raft.  He still felt uneasy about leaving behind so many clues...and combatants.  He trained his eyes up the river as far as possible.

Krwyn and one for the 'fisher kids' went  up the shore   a bit... Halidas was witht eh boat, there didn't seem to be too much traffic on the river...

The River Tou.. was a good barrier  from   any land  approach, as were the   ferry goblins.

.....

The People started to Buzz  and some of the  bigger  men began to get the Planking   out of  storage for the tables.

some of the women sent thier younger   boys and girls  to see  what  they would like them to make for the feast

The Big Men had started to set up the  long planks  served  as thier feats tables... in the space between  Lill's House and the next house  up.

In th Lill's house.. the  woman held   Ereg tight  crying out of  joy? relief?... Ora just hung onto her   apron ..confused and somehwat scared.

Re: River

Once the Locals had setup the celebratory tables Justin knelt at the head of the longest set. Closing his eyes he started praying to Eta, thanking her for the blessings upon this community and provisions she was about to provide. Slowly a shimmering glow formed covering the plank table this changed form and hue taking on the appearance of several shapes. These shape began to solidify, with a final flash of light the glow ended, leaving in its wake a variety of Vegetables dishes along with Roasts from full Beef, Pork, Sheep and all manner of Game birds; in all sufficient for three score and a dozen adults. Opening his eyes Justin stood extending both arms Praise Eta for Her blessings he declared  slowly sweeping the assembly with a encompassing look. Good folk Let us celebrate the returneth of Master Ereg unto his beloved Lill; who's love be surety of for all to observeth. One doth hope Thee all enjoy yon fine repast from Eta.

Ora  Looked  towards  the Door.. and    moved behind  Lill a bit peaking at just a  tiny bit at Myra.

Lill  just gave a  slight shake of her ehad as she held onto Ereg.

.............

Outside the Popel   gsped ..some fell to thier knees. the food that was present was more then they see in a few months  time..and well  , then  more, for the two close  patch house groups to share  for a good week, even after the feastings!

The Old one  ws helped to the benches.. and she looked over the spread with wide eyes,..this is like the fables they have told.. of  the great feasts those who  built Bowshot had..after   each battel that they won, ans they building of Ironmound's  wall grew!

Motioning for Lill and Ereg to take a seat at the end of the table. Justin handed them platters for them to use for their meals. Tis a marvel how Eta's hand and subtle plans be revealed. Once the locals and Arrows had selected their meals Justin did so himself, slipping into a spot on the pew and enjoying the banquet.

a pair of Kids  went out to Find Haildas  and Krwyn to bring them to the feast.

.............

a pair of  men had   fiddle like  instruments  and  began to play while a younger woman played  a set of pan pipes. they had  some food  and drinks set  near them.

the people began to ask all manner of questions.. they found the Body of the  darkhooded   down the  river... Goblin arrows in his back   and a note that said " Ferryman  Killer" on  him.

Dime enjoyed the fod  and was chatting up a  girl.. kids  were  eating...

ora chewed on a led of  a turkey as she looked around at all the people..she seemed less afraid..but  still wary...

Lill stood    and pounded the  table  with  her   mug.. then held up the Mug as she said,... to the fine folk of the Crimson Arrows..... they have  returned  my Ereg... and   found the  slaver hole... setting free these  poor people... perhaps.. they might settle here?... or  go on to Bowshot?  but... for now?.. they deserve to celebrate   as well.!

Haildas reluctantly gave in and followed the child towards the sounds of merriment.  After finding himself a bowl and filling it as best he could, he found himself a comfortable spot under a tree.  Keeping just outside of the group, he was able to watch both the festivities and the surrounding area.  He had learned long ago not to allow oneself too much comfort, especially when traversing lands unknown.

Enjoying the celebrations Myranda noticed Dim had struck up a conversation with one of the womenfolk, which in itself was a good sign. Looking around she notices both Hailda and Krwyn chose to separate themselves from everyone else, prompting her brows to wrinkle in annoyance.

Kr'wyn is also reluctant to stop guarding the river, but gives in to the plee of the child that came to fetch him. The boy that was with him as a messenger runs back to the houses. Kr'wyn himself looks for a good spot to keep an eye on the landingplace. Then he gets himself a good meal and eats it with half an eye on guard.

The PAtch hosue  folks  were Buzzing  as they ate, talking, telling stories  of other feasts.

There were about  27 people give or take , as the smaller  patchy at the end of the  Row  Joined  Lill's PAtch in celebrating.. One of the  music  folks would stop to eat for a bit while the  other  two played, so they could keep the  Music going..

Torches  and LAnterns  were being set to Give Light  around the feast area.   Near the  players   was a secotions  that has Field stone on the  ground... some of the Younger Men and  women   took to danicng there, then would retrun to more eating and drinking

Ora was half  asleep leanign on  Ereg with her ...mostly..finished turkey leg in her  hand.

The Old One  was  tellign tales to the wee ones...her  crackling voice  adding to the scarey tones of while she  told of great heroes who found Dragons in the High Peaks, when she was a little girl.... Stories  of  the great  warriors who helpre d build Ironmound.. Dwarves..Elves  and Men...

a woman in her  30's or so  brought a  pair of Mugs out to Haildas, along with  some  fresh bread  and wine from the PAtch House   stores.... You do not  wish to join the others?... This is  due to your efforts, and those of your Comrades.... she  poured a  Mug for them both, and  sat  next to  him, curling her legs behind her and  cutting some bread for them Both.

For  Krwyn, he  was approached by the lad who was standing  guard.. he  had a wooden plate  and a  fork...a piece of a dark berry pie.. he  was munching on another piece he held in his hand...me   Pa?>. he thinks  you should have somne goodies  ta eat?..an'  says ta try ta  bring  you into the   feast?.. ain't no one attacks the   Houses whe folks  can see them...

Haildas smiles at the woman as she seats herself beside him.  He accepts the bread and drink graciously, tearing off a small section of bread before passing it back to her.  Placing the mug down to his side, he finishes chewing a portion of bread...

"My apologies for seeming so...distant.  I have never really been one for such revelries and I often find peace in my solitude, something a man in my line of work sees very little of."

He did not want to bother or worry the woman by mentioning that he was still uneasy and preferred to stay in a sentry state of mind.
