  Dime  came  struggling back into the  camp.. a nasty wound on his left tight..looked to be the chop of  a badly cared for  short sword.

 Haildas charged into the brush.. he saw the fleeting   figure  of a humanoid  move to his right.. but  heard the bow twang to his left...

  Justin, Myra  and Dimne  were enar the  slaves.... HAidas  in the brush to  the  east...Krwyn to the west...... arrows flew.. but not  at any rate..one.. then nothing.. then  three.. then nothing...

 Krwyn  could hear movement..maybe a struggle , by at least on person that was entangled...

  but silence was beginning to take hold... no movement.. save for the thrashing of Haildas's charge...

Myranda cast a spell on Dime ooc 10 hp cure. She then glanced about wondering what the source of this silence could be and what it may herald. Moving away from the huddled Prisoners to prevent any missile attacks from targeting them.

Kr'wyn's eyee try to locate the slavers in he dark and his ears are strained to hear any sound that would give their position away.

Justin flanked Myranda moving forward towards the eastern edge of the clearing Pausing in the shadows he took a knee his shield to the fore as he scan the immediate area and listen for signs of movement.

 Dime  feels a bit better... he  fleses his leg looking  at the   nasty tear in his  leg leathers.

  ..I saw a rowboat.. long  one.. maybe  4 sets of oars.. like the ships carry for  sending  a landing party?... didn't see no people.. no other   boats  on the river.. Even with the fog.. i would ahve seen the splashing away.. they did not get that big of a jump on us...


  a Voice  comes  from the  North west .....Don't know  if  yer  some kinda  Heroes... or  just plain stupid.. but yer  not gettin' our  goods back... we'll see them  dead.. before we see them free.....  There is rustling around the Camp.. but only is  small spurts...sometimes the noises is a  branch  being thrown...some times  movement...

 to give you and idea...

  draw a circle on a paper.. Top part is  north.

at the  north part ( about 100 yards or so) is  the Storm River.

 the circle, about 50 yards or so across  is the camp

 Myra..slaves, Justin and Die  are at 5:00 on the  circle.

 Haildas  charged into the   trees at about  4:00 on the circle.

 Krwyn is at 8:00 on the cirlce

  The Vocie   came.. ( you'er pretty sure ) from 11:00

Pleasantly surprised by this useful information. Myranda pauses In which direction and how far is the boat it's as good as anything for our way out.

 the  long boat ( not Viking longboat.. but ship's longboat) is at7-8

 the voice  was somewhere in the  1-2-3 area B-c

Justin agreed Indeed Mistress Myranda We shouldst all skirt the eastern edge of the clearing anst make our way to yon Rowboat. Carefully leading the prisoners thence.

Haildas continues with his charge, turning to the right in pursuit of whatever he believes he saw.

Quietly relating her plan that they all sneak around the clearing to get to the boat and use it to escape, to the women and children Myranda asks what they think.

ooc Are there any shields, pieces of armour or bows left in the camp?

  ... we need to get that  Krwyn fellow here.. if  we leave, he may be cut off from teh rest of us!

 taking a  quick look there is a bow  with a  quiver  neat the  dead human.. and an axe and dagger  on the  bigger thing...

 there are a couple of  small shields near the tent that is  not on fire.. ( both tents  are F4 burning... F8..not buring)

Myranda motioned for Krywn to close in on them as she focused on the weapons and shields she could see.  Starting with the shields the various items rose into the air, one at a time, floating across the clearing to the group. These shields should help protect the women and children Once Krywn had joined them the group started arching their way around the campsite. Myranda leading the other arrows flanking the rescued prisoners.

 by the time  Krwyn reaches  you.. you will have  managed the items...

 in the Meantime.. there is   rustling every now  and then around the camp.

While waiting Justin scans the area ahead for threat When the group is ready to move Justin takes up positon on the west side of the group skirting the clearing.

When Myranda beckons him, Kr'wyn takes a course that keeps him between the supposed enemies and his companions and the freed slaves. He keeps shooting arrows at every movement he sees to his left side, and casting repeated entangled spells to hinder the slavers.

 The  Move through the thickets, and  begin to make thier  way towards the  River. Dime is walking with a bit of a limp but seems , otherwise...fine.

   The entangles  reach to grab things.. it is  unclear if  they were successful to not. In the darkness, and hampered  by mist and   flickering  fire  light. it is hard to tell.

 The  Come upon  Haildas, who has Dispatched a slaver,  the young lad isn't much older then some of the prisoners.. but the rusty blade and  used leather armor..spoke of the fellow  being    with the  slavers for a while.

Moving as stealthily as they can through the dense foliage the arrows located around the prisoners as the group edges its way around the clearing towards the boat.

Justin moves to the left of the Prisoners this way he's better positioned to protect them from the slavers direct attacks and hopefully bowfire.

  the  group move  slowly through the Trees... they know there are some  slavers on thier side of the camp...

  every now and then a stray arrow  hisses  through the  thickets, as a slaver  takes a chance for a lucky shot, from the west.

Myranda Continues leading the group carefully towards the River. Pausing near a trunk she scans the way ahead for figures that may show themselves.

Kr'wyn keeps himself between the slavers and the group, firing arrows whenever his keen eyes find an opportunity to hurt one of the slavers.

  Myra  Frezzes.. she  waves her  hand  and Poitns to three   slavers  who are peering into the  Camp.. trying to see where the slaves had been  Kept.. the   same  flickering   light,that was haloed , by the Fog, hinder their sight as well...2.. of them had    Longbows  ,w ith arrows Nocked.. another one wore  robes and was whispering  to the others.

Myranda signalled Dime and Krwyn that she'd target the robed one they should target the other two. When they acknowledged she took aim and let fly.
