Kree    shakes His head, his Hood  is  up,..no?    We are Arrows.. we will not be the only ones, coming and going. Like  , Young Brikit… we  may be watched more if  we did  not show  them, as  the eyes  should shift to the Caravans guards, who are not Arrows. Even  if  Carn is  around, he would have  to ask questions  as to why  there are so many Arrows  with this caravan..but? The truth is no one can answer because they  will not know  where  'those Arrows" came from... once  we  reach  Trace home.. It will be too late for him.

Mikio makes to sniiff Orlin as he quickly glances around the docks with all the sea smells present.  "No, I think you've got that covered already brother." he says as he cracks into a wider smile.

Niphre watched as the little wood elf walked up to them and introduced himself. He was an odd-looking little thing, but she supposed that he would be of help to them.

The wagons began to roll, and Niphre continued on with the others.

Diana was glad to be on the move again.  The down time had been nice, and it had been nice to build the village, but she had began to grow restless by the time they left.

She took notice of the newcomer, although ignored him for the most part.  Her only question about him was how good was he in a fight.  She had a feeling they would find out soon enough.

The Caravan Master  called Out to Kree  as if he  were a hired  hand,We shall  reach the trace   edge  by   Morning.. we  are   driving straight  through the night... Onc e we  reach the   tree line, we'll have   about  2  hours   of  travel to reach Timberhome.

wardens should  appear  a god  halfmile  before  we reach the treeline.

...as it should be, or the wardens  are not  justified in thier name.

He  whistles and   calls out, those who are able to see in the night , better then the others..   move out to the  edges of the  road, those  who cannot,   stay closer to the wagons

Re: River

Mikio moves gradually to the edge of the road, puffing smokelessly on his pipe as he goes.  He moves seamlessly across the broken ground, as sure-footed as if he were walking on a clear path.  He keeps an eye out to the side of the road, making sure they are not approached without being aware of what might be approaching.

Occasionally he is seen to stop to inspect a plant or to snip back a broken branch or tree limb so the plant in question does not need to bear the weight of a dead member or is better proportioned.  Even if the plant is only a weed he seems to treat it with the same respect as he would any other.

Stardancer had been quietly watching.  The wood elf was certainly interesting.  "Kree...If you like I could ask the horses to run away or make trouble for their riders.  They would not know only that any horses with us are whinnying and most likely not realize it is a conversation"

Lucy was partially distracted.  She had gotten a message from the north.  Something she sure as hell hadn't expected.

She moved to the right front, her more normal place.

She watched the night, seeing nothing of note.  She paused listening to the sounds around her.  She heard the sound of a light breeze, and the sounds of nature around them.  Actually, it made her quite content.

Walking on the west side of the caravan, notices movement in the grass. He spots 4 cat folk trying to hide. He uses the subtile whistle signals to allert his compagnons to the threat. Meanwhile he tries to hide his drawing his longbow. He waits for a signal from Kree to fire at the closest enemy.

Orlin pulls his good further over his head and quietly hides himself behind the wagon, if there are team members nearby he notifies them.  Lucy is the first cat folk he has seen so despite rumors he doesn’t have a truly negative opinion of them.  Yet, though night time is their usual element, caution is advised.

Re: River

Orlin looks to the other members of the group and sees them focussed on "Targets" beyond the Firbolg's sight on different sides.  He glances back at Star dancer, and sees her notching an arrow and holding ready, the horses would have a good sense of whether the cat's were in a predatory mood.   It was an ambush.  Kree had good senses and even better awareness of his team, he would be on top of it.  Orlin waited for the signal to action.

Firbolgs learned pack hunting and battle tactics from the wolves themselves, He could be a target for dumber creatures while the others surprised them but these had already targeted the out runners, he had to wait till they were engaged, then be the one to flank the apponents and hamstring them.

Lucy just smiled.

She didn't draw her bow like the others, no, this fight, she hoped would be up front and personal.

She drew her blade and unsheathed her four inch claws.

She looked back at Kree, waiting for the signal to attack.

She looked at the cat folk and licked her lips.  This was going to be fun!

Re: River

Orlin’s staff arch’s energy and he explodes upward into a great winged lion.  The beast roars with a voice from beyond the world as you know it.  Orlin is not here anymore, the old one has full control, and he was in a terribly playful mood.

Cloaked by darkness to most, and difficult to track for the cat people.  With the blinding torches down the cat peoples vision was compromised.  The old one swooped in and snatched one then another fair sized toms and carried them high into the air before hurling them at the road.  These cats didn’t have time to land on their feet.

Re: River

As soon as Kree's signal sounds and een before Orlin transfers into the mightly Old One, Krwyn let's his longbow Liferender speak, aiming for the nearest catfolk he alraided aimed at before. The light of the torches mad it even easier for him to see what was needed.
When his first arrow is on his way to its intended target, a second is already on the bow, Krwyn aiming for his next target.
