Reverently Justin enters the Temple, moves to a pew in the third row and offers Prayers of Devotion to Eta. Ninety minutes later he rises and crosses to the Collection Box depositing several coins. He looks around assessing the devotees and attending Priests.

 The   Temple is  Busy, as one might  think... some of the  Troops  getting ready to patrol for a week at a time.... chose to  visit the temple, rather that that of the Alpower.

 Fishermen either returning to give thanks for  a good day of  fishing..or perhaps, Night fishers, who brave the  river to try to get the bigger serpents.

   Justin doe s Notcie , a Holy warrior, in battered armor, wearing  Ets's  symbol,  approaches the High Vleric  who  was kneeling  at the  alter..

Seated in the third row of Pews, Justin acknowledges his Comrade Devout, the fellow looked like he'd had a difficult time of things and was making a of the situation.

 The High Cleric frowned at the  fellow, he spoke harshly , and this made the battered  warrior's  head Drop.

   shucking his pack, he  gave the   High Cleric  a rather nice sized  pouch of  coin... it was not  to be missed, that the coin pouch was bloodied.

From his location it appeared that Eta had other plans for his brother Devout as Justin gathered the assignment was not successful. Perhaps this is why She had orchestrated his presence here and now. Justin adjusted his equipment in a manner to alert the High Priest and Devout of his presence whilst not impeding on their discourse.

   Lookign towards    Justin, the High Cleric  gave him a  Not  then  sent the Other holywarrior off  with a Dismissive wave.

  Taking the   Pouch, the High Cleric  went back into his rooms  behind the alter.. while the  unhappy Holy warrior began to walk out of the temple

  The  Holy Warrior, shrugged.....I feel she   has played a  prank on me..or perhaps her  Sister  took control...

 ..I return, from a trip to the High Peaks.. we  were looking  of an old  temple, that was supposed to have been  covered , when Ironmound  walls were made of wood.... isntead, we  found HArgen warriors  on our side of the Moutnain.. we had a runnign fight for  two days... we chased them back over the Mountains.. but i lost 8 of  my 20  people...and did not  find the temple... we did...gain much coin for   Eta...but the High Cleric  seems to think... we ahve failed.

Thee hath been sorely tried Brother, Wouldst Thee be willing to undertake another foray to locate yon temple. Perhaps the addition of myself anst some comrade's in arms be able suffice to gain Eta's guidance in such a venture.

   The  Fellow   shrugged  as he looked back to the Altar  in disgusted  voice  said,..I do not know, Brother. I do not think there is a temple there.. or if these was one. perhaps  its   50 miles from there..or?.. 1 mile?..or?  Just a Fable told  by Bards or Sages to get free drinks...

Justin wondered why any of the Church Militant would be assigned such a task, perhaps this was a means of weakening the Order for some hidden purpose or simply it was a legitimate quest Would the Temple be prepared to offer incentive for this venture. Didst the High Priest assigneth Thee to yon quest or be it another of the Clergy?

  The   warrior walked out of the Temple, and  Moved to  sit  down on a  stone Bench outside the doors. He  took off his  Helm, there was a slightly. light  bit of  skin  by his  forehead, that spoke of healing of a wound.

 .. I was ent   along with a  Cleric  and   some  Laymen  faithful..... I do not lnow  why...it is not my porprose  to know.... I only do what i am commanded...

 his voice  drops,..By i do know this.... Followers of the Alpower are seekign  Items... relics..all over the Realms.... The Alpower  seems to be making a move to  Commnad al other Gods, and soon, there  will be just Him... its is no accident, that his, is the Olny Temples  by the same name across the lands... to be sure.... some of the outlander gods.. are merely our gods, renamed?..My th Alpower  carries his name  through all Lands...

Concerned by this revelation Justin responds in a quiet manner. Such doth profess foul tidings for all the Divine save that one. T's prudent to expand the influence of Eta as wide ast possible to glean followers anst their support. he considers the situation Brother, if the High Priest be intent on finding yon temple wouldst Thee be willing to participate anst guide us hence, anst doth Thee thinkest the others of Thy team be willing to sally forth.

 The    warrior    put his  arms on his  thighs   as he bent  Over, he needed  to bathe, his  hair thick with   dried  Mud  that slotted through the  sweat from his helm, His armor was battered.

 .. I do not Know..of the 12  that came back...7  are mere layman, I paid them off, and sent them to thier homes. of the  5 who  were Eta's  children..2 of  them Broke off to Go to Tou, were they had  family ..that would  leave  3... who are on a week or so leave from the Temple, to allow them to regain  their  health......

  His head turns,..how does  one  find something, that might  not ne there...
 he  shakes his head, looking  back at the  fine  stone work  of the  outside ...

  ..one should  think..that  being Eta's  faithful... we would  fine it  by pure happpenstance

Perhaps it be Our Divine's Sister who works to befuddle this. One of my associates be a Follower of both Sisters, she wouldst be able to provideth some advice in this regard. If Thee both anst the three others, be agreeable thy number wouldst bolster the team One be travelling with, consisting of upto five others.

Cassie paused, gathering courage.  Then, she entered the sanctuary, trying to force herself to relax.  Her discomfort was actually in that she wondered which one of the two Gods would reach out to her...

  Entering The Temple of Eta. She can see, some money was put into it. As with all the  major  Temples.   Symbols of the Dice  we around, A statue of  a  woman  with dark hair, held a pari of  dice in her hand, while the other   hand Held a Dagger.

 There were  folks   around, some thanking Eta   for god fortune, with it was hunting, fishing, or even  gambling... other  prayed  for  good fortune for  sick relative, while still other  prayed for her to keep the bad influence  of her  Sister  away.

a few  minor  t5emple  folsk were  sweeping, ot reading Missives that were put in the Candle Box, and lighting candles  for the cause that was requested.

Noticing Cassandra's unfamiliarity with the prospect of praying Myranda smiles encouragingly Think of this as practice for praying to Nar she suggests before moving to the first row of pews. Leaving sufficient space for Cassie, she kneels and starts praying.

Cassandra thought of her words, her hand going to the clasp on the new cloak, nodding in agreement.  Perhaps?  She'd always thought more of her ability to survive as luck, not skill.  But perhaps?

She knelt down by Myranda, unsure what to pray about.  All she could think of was to pray for thanks for the luck that had gotten her here and hoping for Eta to look over them all as they worked together.
