Sir Luthien headed this way, looking for the head of his Order Mannis.

 It takes  him a good   hour  to get   down the street the   the east side of the city...

  he walked  past the Sage's Guild  and  spotted the Library. There were many folks  walking by, a carriage or two, and Units  of  4 City watch men now and again, He  could see , in the  south east Corner, where  the  strange Mage  towers  was, and    as he rounded the  streets, the witches   lands.

  as he headed  North on the  North-East Way..the crowds were thincker, and  Muisc  comeing from  Inns and taverns  all flowed into one   huge backround noise He could see the Mound of Ironmound rising into the sky, with   a few roads, , But the main entrance was guarded By dwarves .

  the closer he got to the Street Of Pleasure, the more and More   men and women, dressed fancy  and perfumed , plied their trade.

None of which were even slightly tempting for the Knight. A man on a mission, he was looking for somebody specific, and a Knight of his station shouldn't consort with such as plied their wares.

 standing in the street with   men and woman asking him if he wants a 'good time".  now and then a srtay person would walk by, some had a gold Neck lace with a Gold, unicorn horn, charm.

 others   had  silver necklaces with a  small ruby curved blade charm.

Luthien continued to be decidedly less then impressed with such, though he knew he was entering a den of vice by coming here to begin with. Still, he does start asking around as to where Mannis might be. Perhaps he is well known to the trollops here about. He'll find his way soon enough.

   One of the  of the men with a golden horn around his neck, stops and  tells Luthian.


    he's in one of the Houses, that's fer sure...  sometimes he's with orcs...or goblins, sometimes with  a Human..dont;'  know what he picked tonight...

Luthien finds himself more and more disturbed by this look into the man who's supposed to be his superior officer.

Okay he definitely needs to find him. But not to report in. To save him from himself.

He'll have to look through the Houses now, particularly those who deal in orcs and goblins.

Luthien will stay less then a couple of minutes at any House that proves unsuccessful. Utterly uninterested in the wares provided.

  the  first place  he enters is  called  The Golden Girl.  it is a very well kept  building on the Street of Pleasures.

 The Owner , Tolana Mitie, greet Luthian with a smile, and  older, but  fine looking woman she  smiles....so?..My dear?..how  do your tastes run?...male? Female?  Demi humans?

 the smoke  is thick, the  perfume and incense  are over  powering.

Luthien shakes his head.

"None of the above. I'm looking for Mannis. A matter of some importance has come up."

 The woman's  smile s as she   brushes  a hand  across his  chestplate,well he was here a few hours  about. one of  the Goblin  lasies   took care of him...But you know Mannis.... she giggles,

 ..he moved  on to my other 'house..The Silver  Hair....he likes  to spread himself  around...

Luthien flat out sighs at that.

"Thank you for telling me. Sadly, tonight, he'll be turning in early once I find him."

And then Luthien departs to the Silver Hair next.

  a bit down the street  is another   Building, there are a pair of fellow s with   Red blades hanging from their necks. They eye luthien as he enters...

 The Building is noted  for a large head of a woman with Silvery hair  hanging over the wall.

  This  place  is as nice   as the first, and looks much the same inside. A dainty fellow approaches   Luthien and smiles fluttering painted eyes,..So?..Hansome..do all you  tra Lovers...like to test your tastes...

 the huge   living  room has a few folks  'plying  their trade' on the couches , with a few more going up and down steps.

"Perhaps, but tonight, something's come up, and I'll need to borrow Mannis. Business call, ya know."

A true Knight is always on call.

  The Dainty fellow  looks him up and down with a smile,..so i have heard...are you....on call....  his eyebrow raises   hopefully.

Luthien shakes his head. "As I said, business trip."

Luthien doesn't even look vaguely tempted. Among other things, he's straight.

  Well?  I am afraid   your Fellow  has...gone to ground...as it were..Hmmmm?... maybe you'll catch him in the morning

Luthien...sighs.

Apparently, this particular quarry has found other uses for his time. He's really going to have to do something about that.

Still, he has promises to keep. Without a single glance at any of the harlots here about, he returns to the Palace. He had, after all, promised the princess he'd stay there for the night. A man of his word, Sir Luthien.
