  The    leader of the  Wardens nodded to Justin,..Follow  us then.. do  not wander from the trail.. not   shoot  any animals on the way to  RazorHawk Village... the  reward  for  either?..Is death...

Justin already knows this nods, turning he waves the group over. When they are gathered he relates the Wardens directions to the others. He'll take up last position of the Crimson Arrows as they head along the trail to the RazorHawk Village

Giving the Wardens a friendly smile and a wave Myranda slips in alongside their guide asking how things have fared and what's been happening since she was last here.

 As they enter the Timber,, the cool air hits them as the breezes   manages  to   worm its  way  through the Boughs.

   The   lead Warden  gives  some hand  signals  as  two  wardens in the  trees  Move off  through the boughs …

  Wardens have   cut  down a few  Cat Folk in the area....Some of the  Wizards  Guild from Tou have tried to  open trade, but it seems they are interested in something the CAptain Brought   back a while ago, and the Village  is  using it  for our  own good...

  we got  news  from a runner, the Captain and his Unit  went into the Great desert , lookign for  some wayward Arrows.. One of the  Arrows  returned  and , goign to Ironmound, Reedrick  wasted  a  messenger  Hawk  to tell us that...

Myranda considered what she was told, by the Warden, then asked how many were dispatched and where they were located; so they could keep an eye out for others if they were passing through that area.

  The warden  never looked   as they continued their  walk,.. Reedrick  sent  an Owl  with the message.  He also sent  an 'unclean' creature  with  a   message ..we made her  drop it  100 yards  from the tree line... explaining the Captain's  thoughts  on the disappearance  of the  Arrow  Unit. ...there is  some  sort of Ruins  involved...

Trailing along after the Elven guides Justin noted their familiarity with the trail they followed. That would be interesting to learn, naster Warden doth Thee knoweth if One woulds't  be able to read yon missives?

  ..I am Most certain YOu  may ask. Since you bear the mark of an Arrow.   Whether the Missives  are  still around.. its  been  a 10 day or so....

  Justin Noted   that  the  trail was  esay enough to see... marks from the ...very few... wagons that  would come to trade  wound through the forest. But the  Warden would lead them off the path, into, seemingly thick tress... only to  find  a  new path that  lead in the general direction of  the Village...now and again, they would   come back out to  the Main road... and  travel once more.

a Call from the trees,..two forest runners  to the  east, we will watch them.....

 The  leader   signaled that he  heard and keep walking.

   The warden   give s Justin a  look, down the sharp elven nose,..The  Forest  Runners  belong to the  Timber, as much as any of us. It is only when they threaten  us...our livestock,  do we  act in a way that  would cause them harm.

Myranda kept pace with the Warden Leader noting the different paths they moved along, giving a friendly wave to any she had previously met and asking about recent events

Grimalkin silently followed along, taking note of his surroundings, direction and the turns they made. The forest was a nice change from the river and the terrain they had previously crossed.

  After  what seemed  like  hours  walking, the smell of  Meat   cooking  as  hot stew...

   Small Bird s   with  sharp bones on thier   heads   flew   through the trees   with clear  cries, then  would  vanish into teh Trees.... The  Trees  were MAssive as big around  as the river Tou  is  wide.

   some  50 yards  off the road a  crew of Dwarves, dressed in  greens  were   digging out  a Stump That  could have been the foundation for   the 'Walk-the-Plank '

 about  100 yards  from there, where  Elves  dress in   Robes of Green or brown . They were Setting   smaller  trees into a newly cleared   spot.

   The warden said over his shoulder,it is rare, for  trees to be harvested... when they are, no bit of the tree goes  unused...and new  trees  are planted in  the  harvested  space.

 His voice  was Grim,..it  was  a few 10 gays ago, that some people  managed to  breach the wall of the Timber, and were  Cutting trees.. wasting  the lives of  our  wooden brothers... They have paid  for those   Crimes.... there are a few who are  Paying..still. As   the trees  grow within thier bodies... druids  make certain, they will not  Die.. so the forest may have its own vengeance

Giving a nod of thanks to the Dwarves and a smile or wave to those she knew. A fitting end for such as those who seek to destroy the Black. Myranda stated then asked it they reveal any backers of this venture?

 the warden shook his  head,..They had  slaves..but they did not  seem to be  slavers, but to have  used them... orcs   where with them  as well.. My Unitl  lives  and patrols  close to the south east..... but  rumor places the Captain's until there, as  those who  drove them out... There was  some feasting  as well..to honor  some   Plain's  elves  who came to the aid of the Timber

When they reached the Village and the Crimson Arrows have reported in, in accordance with relevant Company procedures, Justin informed Cassandra, Grimakin, Haildas and Krwyn and Myranda that he would not be travelling further with them. Suggesting they either Head back to Ironmound, try and link up with Captain Kree or stay in the Village.

Kr'wyn walked under the guidance of the wardens, with awe in his eyes looking at the fabulous trees. He listens to the stories about the incursion and Captain Kree's fight there.

When Justin informs his companions he will leave their band, he is not yet sure what he himself is willing to do next. Linking up with Kree and his band seems out of order as they looks to be far out. Back to Ironmound is not where he wants to be. Perhaps staying a while in the village for rest and recuperation would do him well?

The endless stretch known as the Black Timber was indeed as majestic and alluring as the stories and tales had made it seem.  Despite being, once more, in a position where he lacked knowledge...friend from foe, safe havens, etc...his thoughts began to float.  He had had many encounters with Elves before but these people were different, a cast unlike any he had met before.  Then his mind began to return to the lovely vampire woman he had met.  There were so many wonders for him to study, he found it difficult to concentrate.

 There w as a feast  set up, perhaps not as Big as when the Captain  would arrive, But  Arrows  were  still Arrows. People  who defended  others, outside of the Forest, and would be a key weapon , should people outside the forest wish to  do them harm.

  As the  Group was  led, with thier  erstwhile  Leader.  One of the Elders approached them....do you have  numbers, to add to the Totem?

  flutes  were  playing  as  a few folks  began to gather for the feats  and Dancing.

Justin introduces the new Crimson Arrows and updates the listing. When there is an opportunity he enquires if there is one who is the keeper of Antiques Records he can talk with.

   Justin is pointed to a Building that has many a trophy hanging from it.. Forest runner  skulls... a dragon skull..various  creatures pelts.

  ..The Sages  would be  your Best bet...
