During the celebration Justin hoped to arranged a time, to discuss the expedition with Lord Krell, after it ended or on the morrow. After doing so he partook of the joyful event, chatting with the others.

Looking at the others seated at the table once Myranda had joined the growing celebration, "Looks like our best course of action is to await the arrival of this rider and see if he has news of the main group. Then decide if we wish to attempt to join them or pursue our own course."

Myranda enjoyed her respite in the company of discerning Elfkin. Frolicking with pleasure as the Highly proficient Minsterals played lively tune after lively tune, intermingled with other less vigorous melodies they catered for all participants.

Krell sipped again from the wine,.. You are seeking  a rather long  Quest,  Warrior of Eta. many folk have entered  the Highpeaks  for   that type of quest... none have  found what they wish....they have  found some trinkets.... perhaps  some   Bandit troves?.... but the  biggest thing they find... is death..

Justin nodded knowingly Such be the way of all born ast Mortals. If these hath passed tis the will oft the Divine ast a reward for their devotion anst service. he absently commented then gave the Elven Lord an encouraging smile Eta's hand doth cross many a mortals path ast does that of the other sisters. Mayhap She will guide my step quickly to the Temple She hast held from those who be undeserving of Her grace anst blessings.

Re: BLACK TIMBER

As she danced with the other elfmaids Myranda noticed Krell seated with the roller a distant look on his face. Leaping forward she grabbed Quickshadows hand giving it a friendly tug. Come along then tis hardly a time for talk of sadness, tis a celebration in dance and song, tis a poor example as an Arrow you set us Lord Quickshadow.

Krell looked at  Myra  as if she had two heads,..I am  an Elder, Madame Elf. When I dance it  will be  during the formal occasions, or perhaps, on the very  rare occasions  a Human might  find  enough bravery to  enter the  forest  for some treaty.

He bows his ehad slightly,..I do thank you for your  thought  , though.

Justin raised an eyebrow at Krell's comment. He pondered on the Lord Quickshadow's age. Taking a sip of juice he gave Myranda a half smile at her offer to  Krell.

In reply to Timber (msg # 416):

Krells reaction prompted Myranda's hand to drop the elder arrows and instinctively recoiled from him, as if the fellow had a contagious disease. Clasping both hands together waist high in front of her she gave a slight shrug.  When he thanked her she replied with a Any Time as she returned his nod, she then skipped back to the circle of dancers joining them in a reel.

Re: BLACK TIMBER

Justin stays at the celebration until the sun sets then retires for the night. As he has learnt, from both Krell Quickshadow and the Master Sage, that there are none in the Village who would be willing to accompany him and Brother Palous further; so Justin intends to leave early on the morrow in the hope of enlisting suitable support elsewhere.

Re: BLACK TIMBER

It was    near the Mid-of Night, a warden with a parchment note, and a  Arrow  Pin   came in, Handing it to Krell

He went to the table   the   remainder of   Justin's  arrows  sat...It is a note of  one caled Shadow Mist. Seems    she  felt she could  no longer  carry the burdan of the Crimson Arrow... he holds up the pin.

..The Captain  and his group  have made it to some ruins   on the far , nroth east  end, of the Great  Desert... she  goes on to say, she left thier Camels   in an area she was  sure,  they would find them, shoudl they survive..... there are some...odd  creatues  mentioned... her, Tall Dark Folk... and smaler   hair cover  folks?.... she ends  by saying, that she  could  not leave, without    informing us of the Unit's where abouts....

Tucking  the Pin into a pouch on his belt, he says,... You all need   to think on what you wish to do?.... Inform me in the morning... there are many ways  Arow s can serve the Timber, and  these lands....

he   drops the   note on the table, and MOves off towards his home.

Re: BLACK TIMBER

Hearing of arrival of a message from Kree's unit Myranda strolls across to Krell and listens. When the Elder leaves the message on the table she deftly picks it up. Reading the contents she returns the letter to the table and asks the Arrows who are seated about what they were thinking of doing?.

Re: BLACK TIMBER

The Warden who brought the message sat at the Table with a  tall pewter mug of  cold  wine  and a plate  with some meats and cheese.

The rider came on a Grasslands elf horse. Smaller and Faster then the human breeds... It took her  a bit over  a day to reach the timber... The wardens used thier spells  to get her to the Village   a bit faster.....They started off  at Mok.... You would need to reach there.... the people there are no friends of the Arrows, nor of elven kind..They are friends of slavers, thopugh they are  smart enough not  to deal as such in the city.... even though they are not part of the Empire.... They would be attacked for  being a slave den, so close to Empire Lands.

he  takes  a drink as he shrugs,,,maybe?... a day to reach  or so to reach Grasslands,  Docks....  sailign stright away... another day to reach Mok.... I have no idea how long to   get through the desert.... it has never been  done by our kind  before...

Interesting the enchantments on the Black Timber suggest it's far quicker, to leave the Black than it does to gain entry.

Re: BLACK TIMBER

Kr'wyn still sits without saying overly much, enjoying his wine and food and the look at the dancers. He is still in doubt what to do. Strengthening Kree's foray seems an interesting plan but he thinks the distance and the desert makes it practically impossible to reach Kree in time. On the other hand there is Sir Justins search for the lost temple, which seems to Kr'wyn an almost impossible task as well ...
