I've found the campaign doesn't quite follow either of those, it tends towards Freeform. The spell Casting is different in that MU's and Priests can cast more spells per day however their knowledge of spells is limited to a Sorcerer equivalent.

 Howdy.. for the Cavern  folks... I will be making  a post later today, last  couple days  have been busy , but i want to set the post up right.

 As i have mentioned  in a  few PMs....

  This is  D&Dish.. i do use  the D&D rules   ( 2e  or  3e depending on what your charcter    came from).. but there are also the   'realm's  rules".

 somethings  may not work quite as you think.. so things  will have a short  life span... some will   be there unless broken..and alot of the  creatures  are of  my own design...

 this  goes  with   folks  being  from 'beyond the Mists' trying to fit in/save these lands.

here in the US, is  the  day we  celebrate Memorial Day. The Day to  remember those who  served, who are no longer with us.

 I would also say, remember who the fought against, and for what freedoms they helped us win.
